There are two emerging ideal prototype central midfielders in the Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates DDC teams. Vicky Mkhawana (19) at Kaizer Chiefs 🟡⚫ and Simphiwe Masilela (21) at Orlando Pirates ☠️⚫ They perfectly suit the demands of the Betway Premiership and the modern game Both were forwards before transitioning into central midfield 🔁 They break pressure 💥. These two receive on the half-turn, glide past the first marker and explode away 🚀. Defence turns into attack in one movement 📈. They also control transitions ⚡. Quick acceleration and close control allow them to carry the ball through midfield instead of forcing risky passes, shortening the pitch. Add physical strength 💪 and balance, they ride tackles, keep possession in crowded zones, press high, recover quickly, track runners and then still arrive in the box or support the next phase 🔄🔥 #BetwayPrem #FootballSA
