🚨Dear #Calgary…
Thanks for doing all you can!
There’s a critical consideration for everyone, please.
➡️Please COVER and frequently CHECK all water collection buckets 🪣 and barrels!
🐥Birds, 🦇bats and more can fall in and drown.
Let’s keep them safe! Hang in there.

The mistakes of the past in the Nose Creek Watershed continue to cause trouble for Calgarians. How many more of these incidents do we need to have before we do something about it. #SaveNoseCreek #SNCwatershed #DaylightConfederationCreek @FOCCAssociation @ConfedCreek #yyc #yyccc – at Calgary, Alberta

We can only keep speaking for @ConfedCreek. It never should have been a stormwater outflow, but here we are. It's only getting worse with these severe rain events. Meaningful mitigation on @cityofcalgary land needs doing @lizettendp @rebeccakschultz @MichelleRempel #yyc #yyccc
A better headline and story would be:

What I am learning about @CalgaryParks is there is no revenue stream to buy land when needing to protect ecologically sensitive areas. I think it’s time to pursue local corporate collaboration to feed a fund for land acquisitions. #yyc #yyccc #yycparks @JyotiGondek @jasmine_mian
