The Forced Marriage Unit (FMU) is a joint @FCDOGovUK and @ukhomeoffice unit which leads on the UK Government’s forced marriage policy, outreach and casework.

In September, the FMU delivered outreach to 290 professionals including Immigration Appeals Team, Brighton & Hove City Council and legal services and Savera Group. We also held a workshop for Social Care Staff.

In April, the FMU delivered outreach to 302 professionals including Manchester South Childrens Services, Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation and Invicta Law. We also held a workshop for Registration staff and the police.
In March, the FMU delivered outreach to 230 professionals including University of Huddersfield, Manchester Adult Services, Lambeth VAWG network, Newham Youth Service, Luton Community Group and held a workshop for Social Care staff
