Taking down the tree? No. Steve Landrum and I have decided to leave our tree up until we both get the #vaccine as a constant reminder of hope and the promise of the future.
Ahhheeemmmm. Yes, may I have your attention please???Yes, that is correct. I have, indeed, achieved an “A” in the most challenging stats course (or most challenging course of any type) that I have ever taken...in...my...life. Let the celebrations begin!!! EDL 782, DONE!!!
Teacher buds-We R all struggling w/work stuff...esp my @JefCoEd peeps ending QTR 1. Don’t work 2day. We deserve 2 NJOY what God’s given us N this moment. Work will work itself out. Walk away. Turn off the laptop & even your px. Get outside.❤️ The joy of the LORD IS our strength.
Why should we ask students to self-assess sometimes? When they are working online, it is difficult to get a handle on what they understand. This young guy is a perfect example of the why - they will ask for help through self assessment...

When you know your why, you will know the way and find a way.

Today you have a choice. Get bitter or get better. The past is the past. Learn from it and Let Go. Move forward to create the life you want.
This school year is crazy, stressful, & so taxing on my aging brain. Recognitions like this make it better. These students have only known me -REMOTELY- for 5 weeks. One of them nominated me 2 B honored at tonight’s volleyball game 4 the team’s special Teacher Recognition night.
Teachers R overworked, undervalued, & underpaid. We R the first line for potential, the last line of defense, & somewhere in between all that the scapegoat for political fatcats. If you do not think so, I’ve got something really special with your name on it. Happy to deliver.
