In collaboration with Felipe Cortés-Ledesma @CNIOStopCancer, Rosa Ríos and Cristina González-Aguilera @CSIC @cabimer, we carried out an exhaustive characterization of the differential consequences of Aurora B and/or INCENP overexpression in non-transformed human cells.
In our paper @iScience_CP, we demonstrate that AurkB and INCENP co-overexpression stabilizes both proteins, exacerbates AurkB activity, severely impairs chromosome segregation and cell viability, and has a distinctive and more dramatic effect on the transcriptional landscape.
