@FMCSA, @DHSgov and state law enforcement agencies in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida conducted operations last weekend to CRACK DOWN on illegal trucking WATCH NOW ‼️
The SC State Transport Police conducted an overnight commercial motor vehicle enforcement initiative September 26 with the goal of identifying unsafe commercial motor vehicles and drivers during late-night and early-morning hours across South Carolina interstates.
The enforcement effort was enhanced by a partnership with @NCSHP, @ga_dps, and Florida Highway Patrol conducting simultaneous enforcement activities in their respective states. The operation resulted in 78 drivers and 25 vehicles being placed out of service following 568 inspections.
