We are humbled by the opportunity to serve our state. Thank you @GovRonDeSantis and the members of the legislature for your continued support.
I’m proud of all that the Florida State Guard has accomplished over the past three years and their continued dedication to the people of our state. In recent challenging hurricane seasons, @FLStateGuard soldiers have assisted with search and rescue efforts as well as operating points of distribution after major storms. The Florida State Guard has also augmented efforts to secure our nation’s borders by land and at sea.
Now, as the Trump Administration ramps up immigration enforcement, our State Guard is empowered to do even more in Florida. The @FLStateGuard will also play a critical role in disaster preparedness and response efforts during the upcoming hurricane season. We’re grateful for their service, and we’re glad to support their growth so they can make an even bigger impact on the future of our great state.

👏 Strong partnerships make a difference in disaster recovery!
Yesterday, while delivering water & meals to the City of Ponce de Leon following Hurricane #Isaias, the Holmes County Human Services Support Team (HSST) identified an 83-year-old resident without access to food, water or transportation.
Working alongside the @FLSERT Regional Coordinator, the team quickly notified city officials, who responded immediately to assist the resident.
This is what recovery is all about: working together to ensure no Floridian is left behind.
