Definitely sad to see this 30 month run come to an end. This is an incredibly loveable group of guys, a really special group! This has been Magic/Worthy, Shaq/Kobe or Kobe/Pau level of joy for me as a fan. 24' & 25' were 2 of the best sports seasons of my sports fandom life.

I would not trade anything for these last 3 World Series runs. This core was so special and it’s been an absolute pleasure to watch the Dodgers battle it out. Forever grateful and excited for whatever the next charter is. Dodgers Forever.

Yes, but the discourse is the same and the Kessler trade is for way, way less than AD. Not to mention, it's nowhere near what was given up for say, Mikal Bridges who was 4 years older with zero All NBA or ASG appearances and nowhere near the upside of Kessler.

This is what I would guess the Lakers are planning: Grimes cap MLE, starting 2. Mamu cap space, backup 4/5. Kessler cap space, starting 5. That leaves the 2031/33 firsts, swaps, and $30+ million in salary (Ayton/LaRavia/Knecht/Vando) to trade for your starting 4 plus whatever.
