Michelle Obama has been ordered to repay a grant she received for maintaining the White House vegetable garden five years after she left the executive mansion.
The grant, approved by Joe Biden, was a $1.2 million cash grab, considering the garden had been torn out and replaced by First Lady Melania Trump in 2019.
DC District Court Judge Joseph Barron signed the order for Obama to repay the "obviously fraudulent" grant within 30 days and recommended the file be sent to the Justice Department for criminal review.
The fake grant was uncovered early last year during a DOGE audit of the Obama White House.

A 6-year-old nonverbal girl vanished into the Canadian wilderness without shoes or rain gear. For three cold nights, hundreds of people searched desperately for her. Even helicopters, drones, and search dogs couldn’t find her. Then, just as one search team was preparing to leave the woods, two children heard something that stopped everyone in their tracks.
It happened in British Columbia. Little Oaklynn Schweder had wandered away from her home, disappearing into miles of dense forest. As temperatures dropped and rain moved through the area, her family faced every parent’s worst nightmare.
More than 600 volunteers joined the search. Teams pushed through thick brush, searched steep ravines, and checked areas again and again. But after 73 hours, there was still no sign of Oaklynn.
Then two children accompanying a volunteer search group thought they heard a child’s voice coming from deep inside a wooded gully. The adults stopped and listened. Someone called out Oaklynn’s name, and incredibly, a little voice answered.
They scrambled down the slope and found her standing near a fallen log. She was cold, dirty, and dehydrated, but she was alive.
When her mother finally reached her, she scooped Oaklynn into her arms and carried her out of the forest as the exhausted searchers erupted into cheers.
After three nights alone in the wilderness, this little girl was finally going home.

I still can’t believe CBSDFW ran this story when they knew it was a lie.
A local news station used a photo of a toddler’s rash, labeled it measles, and put it in a story without the parent’s permission. Mom, Dawn Neufeld, said it wasn’t measles — it was the child’s reaction to the MMR shot — and had to publicly demand they take it down and issue a retraction.
That’s not reporting. That’s using a kid’s vaccine injured face to scare people.

A German Shepherd was trapped on the balcony for 6 days and was crying, but the building residents were ignoring it. Neither the police nor the management took any action.
It made sounds sometimes barking, sometimes tired moans, and then complete silence.
This morning, the dog could barely stand and was shaking all over.
Then a biker came.
With a strong presence and a calm attitude, he was looking directly at the building.
He then went inside and spoke directly to the janitor that the dog was dying and he was taking it out.
The janitor tried to refuse, but the biker clearly stated he was going.
Then he went behind the building and started climbing through the gutter.
He reached up to the balcony.
The dog was initially scared and growled.
But the biker used no force. He calmly sat down and gently placed water and food.
"I am here," he said.
The dog slowly approached him.
After a while, the police also arrived, but by then the situation had changed.
The dog was now calm, just hungry and weak.
It was taken to the vet.
And the biker?
He came back the next day too.
Then he adopted it.
Now the dog is safe and lives with the same person who climbed the building for him.
The moral of the story:
Sometimes one person's actions can save a life.

THE CASE WAS SO HEARTBREAKING THAT EVEN THE JUDGE BROKE DOWN IN TEARS WHILE SENTENCING THE K!LLERS OF 12-YEAR-OLD GAVIN PETERSON.
Gavin Peterson, 12, from West Haven, Utah, died on July 9, 2024, after suffering prolonged abuse, starvation and neglect at the hands of his own family.
Gavin was confined to an empty room and deprived of basic necessities. His father, Shane Peterson, his stepmother, Nichole Scott, and his older brother, Tyler Peterson, were implicated in the abuse that led to his de@th.
During sentencing, Judge Camille Neider became visibly emotional as she addressed Gavin’s father, telling him: “You were Gavin’s dad. I don’t think you deserve that title anymore.”
The case was so devastating that the judge remarked on being more emotional about Gavin’s suffering than his own father appeared to be.
Shane Peterson was sentenced to 5 years to life in prison, Nichole Scott received 15 years to life, and Tyler Peterson was sentenced to 5 years to life in February 2026.
Gavin was only 12 years old. The people who should have protected him became responsible for his suffering, leaving a judge deeply shaken by the cruelty of the case.

no food in the cage. no water in the cage. no matter how hot it is outside. he’s getting skinnier by the month and nobody has ever seen him taken out.

13 years old. 33 pounds. Doctors say he probably won't survive.
▪️ Timothy Aaron Sibley and Katrina Gabrielle Sibley of El Paso, TX, are charged with injury to a child. They adopted the boy when he was 2.
▪️ On Sept. 5 he arrived at the hospital unconscious. Staff did CPR for 25 minutes.
▪️ He had fractured ribs, bruises all over, hypothermia and pneumonia, and his heart was working at 30%.
▪️ Doctors compared his spinal fractures to a car crash with no seat belt. One said they were likely from "being stomped on."
▪️ Doctors believe he hadn't been properly fed since he was 3 to 5. His body was breaking down brain tissue for nutrition.
▪️ He had bed sores so bad that doctors said he had "an 80-year-old's back." He now needs dialysis.
▪️ His 6-year-old sibling told police he was whipped with a belt, punched and kicked, drank from the toilet and was caught on camera eating his own feces.
▪️ His 13-year-old sibling cried and said Timothy told them "not say anything to the police."
▪️ The parents claimed he had genetic disorders that were never diagnosed. Doctors dispute that.
▪️ Katrina is held on a $1 million bond. Timothy's bond was $265K, and he bonded out.
Doctors say it's "too late for the child to grow."
Ten years of this, and his dad gets a bond a quarter of hers?

Trump's Fish and Wildlife Service director wants accidentally killing an endangered animal to be legal.
In a memo, Nesvik says only a deliberate act aimed at a specific animal counts as "taking" it under the Endangered Species Act. "Take" is the law's word for killing or harming a protected animal.
His examples: A ship that hits a whale hasn't taken it. Cutting down a tree isn't a take of the bats roosting in it, unless the tree was cut to kill them. Grizzly advocates warn it opens the door to people shooting a bear and claiming they mistook it for a black bear.
This comes after the admin rescinded the rule that defined "harm" to include destroying habitat. A study this year estimates that without it, more than 4 in every 10 patches of habitat for endangered species on private land would lose protection. A coalition of 21 states is challenging that rollback in court.
The memo is dated Sept 14, the same day that rule took effect. The New York Times reported it two days later, and on Oct 15 the Center for Biological Diversity sued to get the records.
If you didn't mean to do it, it doesn't count. That's the standard this admin wants for animals on the brink.

This McDonald’s employee works next to a school and he says he’s very worried about the future
He says every day the young students come into McDonald’s. They’ll have an order that’s like $7, he says they’ll hand him $35 and ask “Is that enough?”
He says the students don’t know basic math, and he also says there have very bad behavior issues
“Bro, I don't know what they're teaching them in school now, but they ain't teaching them the same stuff I grew up on. Where's the fundamentals? Basic math”
