Change is inevitable when you're dealing with other people. It may feel unfair but that's just part of life, to adjust to the environment you're in and the people in it. Don't think of it as replacing who you were, instead think of it as improving who you are now

If people are already trying to connect to you, then all you gotta do is open up to them. It might be unpleasant at first until you figure out what things are ok to open up about, but a little embarassment beats being alone forever

I've seen it with steak and shrimp or steak and lobster. The way I see it, if I want a steak but I want a little extra meat, I'll also order the shrimp. You don't really eat them together, it's more like having 2 dishes that happen to be on the same plate

The people that hate it don't understand that the whole point is that the MC is a perverted bastard, that's literally their only complaint, they love everything else except for the mc

This isn't exactly the same but I noticed that I can enjoy sasuage now, before they tasted strange to me, like maybe something with the seasoning was weird, but I tried some recently and I actually liked it. The thick ones in the casing still have a strange texture though
