Always #morethanrobots.
I was afraid to share my story as a young adult because I'm not an engineer, so clearly I'd "failed" the program.
No way. I found my passion and my career, and FIRST bolstered my skills.
Every FIRST graduate is a FIRST success story.

"You don't have to be an engineer to be a FIRST success story...I know what I'm doing and I'm good at my subject matter. My FIRST journey helped that; it amplified that."
#omgrobots is more than robots.

It is with deep disappointment that we share an update on the immediate suspension of the current FIRST season and the cancellation of both Championship events. The health and safety of our community is our top priority. For full details, please visit: firstinspires.me/qGkJ50yKf1u
In light of developments over the past 24 hrs, FIRST has made the decision to suspend gameplay for this event effective immediately. This decision was not made lightly but was ultimately rooted in FIRST’s commitment to put the safety and wellbeing of the community above all else.
Per directive from FIRST Headquarters, the FIRST Finger Lakes Regional is suspended effective immediately, therefore, we are beginning an orderly closure of this event.

This means that we’re asking teams to load out immediately. There will be load-out pass at pit admin. When your team is ready to load out and your driver is ready to get the vehicle, collect a load out pass from pit admin. Your driver will be directed by security in G and H lot.
Latest updates:
* Finger Lakes FRC Regional (FLR) at RIT is still a go. This could change before or during the event as RIT is taking direction from the local Health Department every hour.
* Load-in begins at 6 pm tonight!
* We are back to 10’ x 10’ pits
