FWIW, Adam was willing to wipe out Hell to avenge one Exorcist. The only time he EVER snapped at Lute was when the Exorcists were dying. While Adam's death was brought up, nobody in Heaven ever cared that a bunch of Exorcists were killed. He cared more than anyone else did.
