Everyone is raging against this guy, and deservedly so. But to attack a different point…why is this a ‘lost season’? Eagles have the SAME RECORD as Dallas, with more injuries and closer margins in their losses. If we get healthy, and win….will this be a ‘miracle turnaround’?
“if I'm Jalen Hurts − or anybody in Jalen Hurts' camp − I'm saying, 'Well if everybody's hurt, I'm hurt, too.' “To me, it looked like Jalen is kind of getting himself out of the fray so that this lost season..he's pulling himself out so that this doesn't look like it's on me."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Jalen Hurts' ruled-out status stems from a superficial blood clot in his calf confirmed via team ultrasounds and detailed in the Eagles' official medical timeline with NFL involvement; no evidence supports strategic withdrawal claims.

After explaining the injury situation to her, my MIL asked “why would you even watch the game?”
@mreeseeagles could suit up at QB this Sunday and I’d be in my living room with my @36westbrook on hoping his experience and knowledge would will the Eagles to a win.

Eagles fans….injuries suck, and the team isn’t where we want it to be.
But people recover, the talent level hasn’t changed, and the NFC East is in disarray.
There is so much time to take charge of this division. Ride the storm and enjoy Tanner Time.

I mean, did we all really expect for this mysterious Eagles injury bug to not affect QB1? Good God wtf is up with this team.
It’s Tanner Time. LFG.
It’s really hard to be on the ‘Fire Sirianni’ crowd when he owns up to his mistakes just like we expect our athletes/coaches to do (and rarely get that from them). His mistake today was indefensible…and he turned around and owned it. Easy to see why players love him.
We’d all be talking about another Jalen Hurts drive to win the game if it wasn’t for a boneheaded coaching decision. But don’t let that distract the hate watch from Cowboys fans, who think their loss and our loss is the same.
Seeing a lot of outlets claiming this release signals that we’re “punting” on the season. How does that make sense? Dalton had everyone screaming for his release since preseason…now he’s gone and it’s some sort of crisis signal? Our fandom is fun and the best but exhausting.
I’ve no idea if he watched the game or not, but watching Bears fans dressed as Ditka living it up as they destroyed the Eagles infuriated me then, but makes me smile today. Some way, somehow, I hope that euphoria touched him before he passed. RIP Legend
Between the two, gotta go with the uniqueness of “Bowling Ball of Knives.” I can only imagine the Fox Sports graphic that would accompany that nickname. 😂 🎳 🔪
Not giving out flowers here, but this was the correct take all along. I’m glad that he listens to people to guide him towards the right decisions. Hard to believe he stays the course given his job, but here’s hoping he learns from this experience.
Not trying to place expectations here…just wondering if anyone has done any comparison film on Lampkin and another famously ‘undersized’ Eagles Center who went on to become a certified Eagles Legend @JasonKelce
Nothing but love for @LaneJohnson65 and his retirement. Thank you for everything you’ve done for the city of Philadelphia and @Eagles fans everywhere!!! You are a class act and the best LT in team history!!! Time for your legacy to #PaveTheLane forward for the Birds.
If only I had more time, I actually do care about the effectiveness of Johnny Mundt time on the field. Because I am a sicko and I’d actually love to see this reps charted.
