đ¨Imagine getting PERMANENTLY banned on Roblox because you used WiâFi.
Not your alt.
Not someone you know.
Just⌠same network at some point.
Same IP = same person?
If someone gets banned on your public network⌠are you next?
Roblox needs to fix this.
@Roblox @KreekCraft @SharkBloxYT
That's it.
I might lose access to everything I did on Roblox.
Roblox has been banned in my country 2 years ago.
I already need a VPN just to access Roblox and Discord, now I may NOT even be able to log into my own account.
I don't really have the choice to leave the country alone.
This could block every developer who is working at Roblox from a country that has been banned and using VPN.

Roblox's new Terms of Service allow Roblox to ban you for signing up for your account under a country you did not actually sign up in.
Previously, the new Terms of Service had also stated that they may terminate users who access Roblox predominantly outside of the country their account was created in, before this clause was entirely removed from the Terms of Service earlier today.

đHello, False Enforcement Ban Victimsđ
â
Now I'll share a new method that will help you justify a false enforcement ban (Linked account ban)â
â ď¸âźď¸I want to warn everyone in advance: I know for sure that this worked for enforcement bans, but I can't guarantee success for other types of bansâźď¸â ď¸
đĄSo, many of you have been asking how exactly I got unbanned?
I got it after contacting the FTC (Federal Trade Commission)đĄ
âď¸Today I'll tell you exactly how to file a report!
But first, make sure you definitely don't have a window to appeal your ban on the Violations & Appeals page in roblox. If you do, use the appeals limit on that page. Only if that doesn't help, read on! I also want to point out that I'm only the second person to get unbanned this way, as almost no one has used this method yet. I also can't say for sure what the likelihood is of your application being approved.
1âŁFirst, go to the FTC website. You'll immediately be taken to the main page and there will be a large "Report Now" button.
2âŁAfter clicking it, the site will ask you which category you want to report under. You should select the "phone, internet, TV service" category and then the "internet service" subcategory.
Now we move on to the main form.
3âŁFor the first question about the internet issue, select the "Access" option.
4âŁBelow, the most important thing for the FTC to begin your review is to indicate how much money you lost due to the erroneous ban. Provide all the information about how much you spent on Roblox. You can skip this if you've never purchased anything, but this will greatly reduce the chances of your appeal being reviewed within the next two weeks.
5âŁNext, in the company details, indicate "Roblox Corporation" and skip the window asking about Which person are you contacting (since you're contacting the entire company)!
6âŁNext, be sure to answer YES to the question "Do you have any other information about them (phone, website, etc.)?"
7âŁâźď¸Further, all new fields that pop up will concern the recipient. Check all these questions in internet. They will all concern the recipient, i.e., Roblox headquarters, since all data is constantly changing, as the corporation constantly changes addresses, postal numbers, and other information. Check their official website or ask neural network for accurate, current information on all questions. (The only thing Roblox never changes in the email section is "legal@roblox.com".)
8âŁNow it's time to write the report itself. It's individual for each person, depending on the ban and its date. Here, I advise you to rephrase one of your appeals you wrote to Roblox in a businesslike style and include all the information about how much you invested in the platform, why you consider the ban a false positive, and so on.
For those who don't know how to write something like this, I recommend consulting a neural network by writing a prompt ("How to write an appeal to the FTC about an erroneous ban on Roblox that is completely false and which Roblox refuses to acknowledge") and then adding the text of your ban below.
9âŁWell, now the final step is a pop-up window for submitting information about yourself. Enter all the information the FTC requires!
đ¨After this, a window will pop up informing you that your report is complete. Before closing the window, be sure to copy your application number, as it will disappear after you close it and you won't be able to find it.
đNext, you need to wait 14-30 days, even if your application doesn't receive a response (as stated in the FTC website's FAQ, the site doesn't always notify you of the success of your request. You may be unbanned without notification from the FTC or Roblox, or you may receive a notification from Roblox Legal or from FTC,)
â ď¸As I already mentioned, since this method is completely new, I can't say for sure what your chances are of getting it, especially if you're applying for a different ban type than Enforcement.
đŤĄđGood luck to you all
Why the hell do random developers who decide to sell clothing in their game get a larger cut than the person who MADE the clothing??
Starting July 14th, Roblox will be reducing what creators earn from 2D items, from 70% to 30%. If sold in-game, the game developer will earn 40% and the creator will still earn 30%.
In addition, to upload either 2D or 3D items, you need to pay 200 Robux and be ID verified (or have a linked parent account). To upload, you will need an active Plus/Premium membership and pay a publishing advance, starting at 600 Robux. Totaling to 800 Robux, minimum, per item.

Another player reported:
She used college WiFi, got linked to a stranger, and was banned.
No shared device. No connection. Just the same network.
This raises a serious question:
If someone gets banned on your WiFi⌠are you next?

This oneâs insane.
Two people banned the same day for âaccount linkingâ - and both had their accounts hacked YEARS ago.
So if someone got into your account once, Roblox logs that link⌠and you can be terminated years later because of it?
211 days banned. Appeals only checking if accounts are âlinkedâ, not who actually owns them.
Thatâs a broken system.

Itâs very sad. @katie_xtz and I both have been banned on the same day for the same reason. We both believe our accounts were linked up because both of our accounts have been compromised in the past.
211 days have passed since both of our bans. Thatâs 5,074 hours in total as this is being written. (since my ban at least.) and itâs utterly ridiculous for a false ban.
A Roblox staff member stated on the dev forum that enforcement ban appeals are checked for âif the accounts are indeed linkedâ. Nothing more. They do not check differences between the accounts like login locations and times, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, and if needed, even payment info.
This statement has lead me to believe that this is the reasoning EVERYONE getâs denied no matter if theyâre innocent or not. And this very same staff member claimed that theyâre willing to take feedback on how they could make the enforcement ban experience better for us, but all they have done was change the ban reasoning twice since both @katie_xtz and I were banned, and fixed our review dates to when we actually got banned. That was all they did. The appeals system still needs to be worked on and the way enforcement ban appeals are reviewed needs to be changed up too.
As I have stated many times I will state again in case @Roblox seeâs this.
My account â@arthur303308â was banned on October 8th, 2025 at 8:36 PM because my account was linked up to another account that was already banned from the platform. The problem is that this account that was linked up to me does not belong to me at all. In fact, when I did some digging after my enforcement ban, I eventually found out a couple weeks later that the account that was linked up to me belonged to an individual that gained unauthorized access to my account approximately 6 YEARS AGO before the enforcement ban action occurred.
This lead me to believe my account was enforcement banned because of a account compromise that occurred 6 years ago, how I believe this linkage happened was because this individual logged into my account, and Roblox recorded that information to their systems and did some behind the scenes linking. Which little did I know would be the cause of my Roblox account getting banned 6 years later.
I was talking to @katie_xtz on Twitter DMâs about both of our enforcement bans, and I asked if her account ever was hacked at all.
She replied saying yes. Which now I believe @katie_xtzâs account was also banned because of a similar situation to mine.
Iâve sent multiple appeals to the platform trying to explain my innocence, but as usual, no proper review was given. Itâs honestly insane for a billion dollar company like Roblox to have such horrible moderation. Like who got the idea that the human moderators should only review if the accounts are âindeed linked upâ?!?? Of course theyâre going to be linked up! Itâs the fact that some of these links are false!
To this day both @katie_xtz and I are waiting for our accounts back. Weâve both been fighting for our accounts back for far too long and itâs getting really ridiculous for how much time has passed. (211 days, 5,074 hours as this is being written.)
@Roblox please take notice!! đđ
If you live with family and share the same internet, what happens if your brother or sister gets banned?
You will be banned too.
Same IP. Different people.
Account linking without real investigation can easily punish innocent players just for living under the same roof.
That shouldnât be how this works.

Roblox doesnt allow you to use the rights manager if your account is terminated which is absurd because emailing copyright_agent@roblox.com takes weeks to respond (sometimes they never respond) , and when they finally do take down the stolen assets the theives have already profited and roblox has to issue refunds and theievs get to keep everything they made.
I was wrongfully banned last year and my ugc group and clothing groups some of which ive owned for almost a decade were all locked and all of my items have been stolen dozens of times over and you allow thieves to profit off of my content with no consequence and yet im STILL banned for fairly paying out ugc creators, 2D clothing designers, devs, mods. Which is not against TOS.
I was banned in 2025 for "selling" and my group was locked, when the only people I ever paid out were contributors/staff for my group. NONE of whom are banned by the way. No one I paid out is banned so why am I banned and why is my group locked.
I never broke tos, infact the account they banned had never been moderated ever. and all my appeals were instantly denied by a bot despite me giving a breakdown of my audit log and what each payment was for.
