What an exciting day with an inventive, passionate group of SCITT students! We explored the importance of D&T, created sequences of lessons, design criteria and even prototypes! Excited to see all your knowledge come to life in school 💪🏼💡🪚✏️♻️ @ILSCITT

In order to teach a subject with confidence, it is important to know exactly what it looks like. Today @ILSCITT South Group have been exploring what D&T looks like and have hit the nail on the head! 🔨

Fab day with the @ILSCITT trainees!👏🏼 This isn’t even a chip off the iceberg, they’ve sequenced series of lessons from KKPD statements, created design briefs, explored lesson design and did it all with creativity and enthusiasm. I hope today showed you how fun teaching D&T is!

Today I’ve been silver smithing! Not too sure that I’ll be doing this with my year 2s next year but it’s certainly a fab D&T experience that I’d recommend! Very proud of my stacking rings! #everydayisaschoolday #design
