Christ died for sin on the cross, was buried, and resurrected on the third day according to the scriptures. This is the gospel. There is nothing else to know. If anyone adds or takes away from it, they are anathema. Even an angel. ANATHEMA. So says the scriptures.

I genuinely don't understand how thousands have been slaughtered in the most brutal of ways and nobody seems to care.
Don’t stop talking about the mass slaughter of Christians by Islamists in Nigeria.

Man, this passage is getting a workout tonight. Luke 18:9-14 (NIV) To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

My fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, I am deeply broken and overwhelmed with pain. Sometimes, I feel as though I may be the next person to follow my brothers who have been taken away from us and buried in their graves. If God does not rise to fight for us, what are we going to do? I am sitting here helpless, wondering what else we can do. We have prayed, cried, and called for help, but it feels as though the government has turned its back on us. Had it been that we were the ones who invaded Ruga, I believe the military would have surrounded our homes and made mass arrests. Yet, when our people are killed, our communities attacked, and our homes destroyed, we continue to cry for justice. We Christians feel helpless. Even some people who call themselves Christians and serve in the military seem unable to stand with us. What, then, should we expect from others? My fellow brothers and sisters, even when the government knows what is happening, we continue to suffer. The authorities responsible for protecting our people must rise above religious and ethnic differences and do their jobs. Every Nigerian deserves protection, regardless of their religion or tribe. Why must innocent people continue to die while those responsible for protecting them struggle to provide the security they desperately need? Today, four more people have reportedly been killed. How many more lives must be lost before the world pays attention to our cries? Every day, families wake up not knowing whether their loved ones will return home alive. We say goodbye to our brothers and sisters without knowing whether we will ever see them again on this earth. That is the agony many Christians in Nigeria are facing. Sometimes, I wonder whether we will live to see tomorrow. If we do, we thank God for His mercy. If we do not, we pray that we will meet again in His heavenly kingdom. This is the painful reality of people who have been forced to live with fear, grief, and uncertainty. The government must not dismiss the suffering of our people or ignore allegations of religious persecution. Every killing must be investigated, and every victim deserves justice. We cannot continue to bury our loved ones while those responsible escape accountability. We need protection, justice, and leaders who will value every Nigerian life. My fellow Christians across Nigeria and around the world, I am calling on you to stand with us in prayer and speak out for the protection of innocent lives. We see how the Jewish people continue to fight for their survival, and we too must find the courage to stand together, defend our communities lawfully, and demand that our government fulfil its responsibility to protect us. Where are our youths? Where is our courage? Why must our people continue to flee while those who attack our communities seem to escape justice? Let us be courageous, united, and determined to seek justice through peaceful and lawful means. May the Almighty God give us the strength to endure these difficult times. Our farms have been taken over, our communities have been devastated, and our people are living in fear. We need our security forces to act decisively, protect vulnerable communities, investigate these attacks, and arrest those responsible. No innocent person should be arrested simply to create an impression that something is being done. Justice must be based on truth, not falsehood. If you have chosen to ignore our suffering, I pray that God will touch your heart and help you understand our pain. I do not pray for anyone's destruction, but I pray that every leader who has neglected the cries of innocent people will awaken to the responsibility God has placed upon them. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, but justice is also a responsibility that human beings must not abandon. As Romans 12:19 reminds us, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord

This might be one of the WILDEST plot twists in the entire Bible and most Christians have never heard of it. Check this out. There were two significant requests Moses made to God that were denied. First. In Exodus 33, Moses asks God, “Show me Your glory.” But God tells him, “You cannot see My face, for no one may see Me and live.” Request denied. Second. In Deuteronomy 3, Moses begs God to let him enter the Promised Land but because of his disobedience and failure to trust God, God tells Moses he will not enter. Request denied again. Now, fast forward to the New Testament. In Matthew 17, Jesus is transfigured on a mountain, and the Bible specifically tells us that his face shone like the sun. And guess who suddenly appears there with Jesus? Moses. Think about this. What is Moses finally seeing? He’s seeing… the face of God. The man who led the first Exodus and delivered his people from the bondage of Egypt is standing face to face with the One who would accomplish a greater Exodus, delivering sinners from the bondage of Satan, sin and death. The man whose face was radiant because of God’s glory (Ex. 34:29) is standing face to face with the One whose face radiates God’s glory (Matt. 17:2). In Deuteronomy 18:15, Moses tells the Israelites that God will raise up a prophet like him and commands them to “LISTEN TO HIM.” In Matthew 17:5: God the Father speaks to the disciples about Jesus and says “LISTEN TO HIM.” But wait… there’s more. Where is Moses standing? He’s standing… in the promised land. The very two things Moses had once been denied, God allows him to experience in the presence of Jesus. Two takeaways. 1. Sometimes God answers our prayer requests in ways that we do not expect. Whatever he has to offer us is infinitely better than anything we could ever imagine. 2. Our failures may have consequences, but in Christ, they don't have to have the final word. That’s why Moses’ failure didn’t have the final word. God’s grace did.

People are so wild. "So this is what you mean." "No. That is not what I mean!" "Well then explain what you mean." "You just admitted you don't know what I mean!" "Then explain." "NO!"

The Roman Catholic Church has changed since the 16th century. But has it gotten better or worse? Watch as @RCSproul explains that the need for reformation is far from over.

Ask yourself this single piercing question: Why would Newton and these other intelligent men like Wycliffe, Luther, Tyndale, Knox, Calvin etc some of them founders of churches, believe such unsavory things about an institution which runs orphanages, schools, hospitals, and have had exemplary members like mother Teresa and many others some of them head of state? Simply put, they understood the book of Daniel, specifically chapter seven, in a way that many of us have forgotten.
The typical modern Catholic counter-argument is that the historicist unmasking of the Papacy was merely the reactionary work of uneducated, angry religious zealots. But Sir Isaac Newton, universally recognized as one of the greatest scientific minds in human history, the father of calculus, and the discoverer of the laws of gravity and motion spent more time writing on biblical prophecy and church history than he ever did on natural science. When Newton prayerfully applied his rigorous, analytical, and mathematical mind to the books of Daniel and Revelation, he arrived at the exact same historicist conclusion as the Reformers. Published posthumously in 1733, his masterwork, Observations upon the Prophecies of Daniel, and the Apocalypse of St. John, contains a point-by-point geometric unmasking of the Papal power. Newton approached prophecy like a code of code and a science. In Chapter 7 of his commentary on Daniel, he traces the rise of the fourth beast (Rome) and its division into ten horns (European kingdoms). He then zeroes in on the Eleventh Horn (the Little Horn): "But it was a kingdom of a different kind from the other ten kingdoms... And such a seer, a prophet, and a king, is the Church of Rome." (Chapter VII) Newton notes that for this horn to consolidate power, it had to uproot three of the original ten horns. Newton concludes: "By the fall of these three kingdoms, the Pope as the 11th horn... acquired a considerable temporal dominion, and a Peter's pence, and Peter's patrimony... and by his keys, his laws, and his omens, he was now able to face kings." In the second half of his work, analyzing the Apocalypse of St. John (Revelation), Newton links the corrupt, persecuting Roman Catholic system directly to the Harlot of Revelation 17. He wrote that the visible Christian church had experienced a massive, structural departure from the pure Gospel: "This host is the prophetic Whore of Babylon, who has intoxicated all nations with the wine of her spiritual fornication... she is the Church of Rome, which has corrupted the pristine apostolic faith and substituted the decrees of men." Newton did not look at the Papacy through a lens of denominational anger; he looked at it through the cold, objective lens of historical data, chronological timelines, and structural fulfillment. The exact same mind that discovered the invisible laws governing the physical cosmos looked at the text of Daniel and Revelation and declared that the invisible signature of the Antichrist was mathematically and historically written across the throne of the Vatican.

With some persistence, the hotrod inspired corvette became real. Lots more room inside than what I was using. Has all facilities. I'm quite pleased. Now it just needs a name. #NoMansSky
