My love for #FinalFantasy and how it helped summon the strength to start this account ⬇️ I adore Final Fantasy. Thanks to my older brothers, I was introduced to the "Golden Age" of Final Fantasy at a young age. For hours, I would sit crisscross-applesauce and watch my real life heroes go on adventures, battle monsters, and learn abilities with the 32-bit heroes we all know and love. And when my adolescent eyes experienced Final Fantasy VIII's cutscenes for the first time, I knew that the series would be forever junctioned to my life. From that point, I made sure I experienced as many Final Fantasy titles as I could. 7-10 were staples in our house, and when it was my turn to play, I would go on my own adventure and do my best to tackle these PS classics. Unfortunately, as an 8-year-old kid, mastering complex battle systems and grinding levels to become more powerful were not things I was interested in - I guess you could say I had a limit I couldn't break. Still, the characters, complex narratives, and vast worlds would draw me in over and over again, like a low-level SeeD trying to get Siren from Elvoret. That love stuck with me through middle school, however, when I moved on to high school, college, and adulthood, new interests, hobbies, and jobs consumed much of my time. But like Sin after the Calm, Final Fantasy returned years later. My family bought each brother a PS4 for Christmas, hoping that we would all play and bond over games online now that we were living our own lives in different cities. Diving back in, we instantly felt like kids again - it was as if we were still living together under mom's roof. I'm so grateful for those years laughing and playing together, and equally grateful for a title in 2016 that healed me when I needed it most. Final Fantasy XV was that game. While browsing newly released games at a local store, my eye caught the case of the latest entry, and I immediately was reminded of my Final Fantasy roots. Like the Flood of Light in the First, a familiar wave washed over me and I purchased a copy hoping to rekindle that familar flame. Many, many hours later, in a small apartment with nothing but a TV, PS4, and recliner, the credits rolled on "A Final Fantasy for Fans and First-Timers" and I had to "Accept the Truth": Final Fantasy is more than a game. Since reattuning to the crystal, I've gone on to play and conquer some of Final Fantasy's best entries. In that stretch, I've laughed, cried, killed gods, and spent way too much time using the glamour dresser. And despite that dedication and duty, I haven't answered Hydaelyn's Call in my own life. Today, that changes as I start my Final Fantasy journey. I don't know if I know how to create good, engaging content that Final Fantasy fans want to see. I don't even know what I want this page to be. Should I analyze characters? Do a podcast? Will applying my love for Arthurian legends, philosophy, and symbolism be interesting? Can my professional experience and background in writing and communications offer a different prospective? I truly don't know. But what I do know is that when times get hard, Final Fantasy is always the Phoenix Down I need to recover, build resiliency, and renew my walk in life's never-ending quest. I believe I'm not alone on this path, and that good stories need to be shared with others struggling. No matter how dark the void, that fire needs to be brought forth because there is a Warrior of Light in all of us. I made this page to express my love and share the good that is Final Fantasy. It's a lofty Dream, but I have Fayth in this cause. I hope you'll take your seat at the table with me and exchange ideas, opinions, and avenues to improve this great community. Forge ahead.

I've poured countless hours into @expedition33, and I can say with conviction that Final Fantasy fans will fall in love with this experience. The Expedition 33 team painted a masterpiece that will hang in the RPG Hall of Fame alongside the best Final Fantasy games in the series.
