In the violent crackdown against the Baloch Raaji Muchi yesterday, the CTD forcibly abducted BYC leaders along with other participants. Those abducted include Sammi Deen Baloch, Dr Sabhia Baloch and Sibghat Abdul Haq Baloch. Their abduction was witnessed by thousands of peaceful protestors. Before abducting them, the forces beat and tortured them, then dragged them to their vehicles. Bearing baton charges, their conditions deteriorated. The CTD and state institutions are denying the abduction putting their lives at risk. Sammi Deen was sick with a high fever before her abduction and was brutally beaten by the forces; we are concerned about her wellbeing. Not disclosing the whereabouts of our people raises many questions and fears that the state might harm them, putting their lives in danger.
We urge human rights organizations and the international community to take action against the barbaric forces of Pakistan.

This is extremely concerning: Baloch activists' homes in Karachi were raided by Pakistani forces, and their families were severely beaten and tortured. Solidarity with @BalochYakjehtiC
Activism is not a crime!!!
In Malir, Karachi, raids on the homes of Baloch political activists and violence against women and children are part of the state's policy of Baloch Genocide.
The spokesperson for the Baloch Yakjehti Committee stated that the oppression by State has always been used to suppress the Baloch people, and the brutal behavior of security forces towards Baloch in Karachi is a continuation of this policy of genocide. The state and its enforcing agencies are resorting to violence against Baloch people under the guise of security, making them targets of brutality. From Liyari to Kech to Koh-e-Suleman, the Baloch nation is facing the worst form of state aggression. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee has decided to resist all forms of oppressive state policies and will intensify public resistance against every incident of state oppression, including those in Malir.
