The broad market has crashed But the index has largely absorbed the impact due to the Mag 7 positions not collapsing together This is a unique situation But it also means that the vast majority of people should just be buying a market weighted ETF and not even try and beat the market And it certainly means there is no use for portfolio managers anymore.

Bucky Irving has been awesome in 2026, looking much closer to the Bucky we saw in his rookie year. His ranks among 39 qualifying RBs, per @FantasyPtsData: + 10th in YPC (4.65) + 11th in explosive rush yards/att (1.91) + 11th in EPA/Rush (0.037) + 13th in rush yards over expected/att (0.29) + 14th in MTF/att (0.18) This is despite his offense being 28th in the NFL in EPA/Play. A good reminder that RB efficiency is heavily influenced by small sample variance, injury, and environment (TB OL injuries in 2025). There's a reason why efficiency metrics are not very predictive of following year production.

This is my 3rd day in the U.S. There is a lot of diversity here. As an immigrant from Singapore myself, I will always respect the American way and follow all the rules. I will contribute to American society by paying all taxes, and never become a hooligan and danger to this country. I believe America should only let the best immigrants in. Educated, respectful, follows the law, and works hard. Do not let in Third World values or else sooner or later, the U.S. will rot from its core. America is one of the best countries in the world, but it needs to be selective in who gets the right to become an American.

Everything people were saying about Travis Etienne last off season will be said about Bucky Irving headed into 2026 (one of the most least efficient RB’s in the NFL, etc, etc) But he was dealing with injuries himself & the Bucs OL was banged up all season BUY Bucky Irving💰

$UBER valuation is actually hard to ignore at this point Assuming: - FCF growth slowdown 25% -> 18% - P/FCF stays at all time lows of 15x In 5 years that gives us: - Stock price of $162 - Total return of 122% (17.3% annualized) Basically market beating returns from a bear case And btw, this is not including accelerated buybacks of 5% per year growing at 70% YoY

$UBER will deploy up to 500 Hyundai Ioniq 5s this month to collect real-world driving data for autonomous vehicle developers. Each human-driven car will use cameras, lidar and radar to capture unusual road situations. Uber AV Labs has agreements to provide data to Nvidia and Wayve and is discussing arrangements with other partners.

Most people will be getting buried by Parker Washington
I completely understand the bull case for Luther Burden and quite frankly it’s all valid but at pick 41 I just can’t stomach that price with the quality of receivers going after him If I get buried by Luther Burden this year so be it

You don't have enough $UBER, and this picture shows why. You are either buying the story and betting that Tesla’s robotaxis will take over Uber, or you’re investing like a serious investor, guided by data in a spreadsheet, not a story you tell yourself. Uber is waaay more than a ride-hailing app. Uber operates in 79 countries and 15,000+ cities. Here is everything you can do today: - Book a ride, including reserving one in advance. - Order food delivery through Uber Eats. - Get groceries delivered. - Book hotel stays through an Expedia tie-in. - Find and book parking through SpotHero. Bears focus only on mobility and ignore everything else, but that's a mistake. Uber added roughly 20 million Uber One subscribers in the last 15 months, translating into sticky recurring revenue and driving cross-platform usage. Uber Advertising exceeded a $2.5 billion annualized run-rate in the last quarter and grew 50% year over year. In July 2026, Uber struck a deal to acquire Delivery Hero, widening its footprint to 99 markets that neatly align with its playbook of bundling rides, delivery, and Uber One into a single, scalable offering. Cross-platform users spend roughly 3x what single-product users spend. Uber expects the combined company to be about $1.2 billion more profitable per year than the two companies would be on their own, once integration is complete. Uber’s AV plan is pretty straightforward. They are not trying to build a full self-driving system themselves. Instead, they want to run a marketplace where different self-driving car companies can connect their vehicles to the Uber app. Uber focuses on what it already does well: bringing in riders, matching them with cars, and handling the day-to-day fleet work like charging, cleaning, and maintenance. To make this happen, Uber has lined up more than $10B in commitments for the next few years, including investments, infrastructure, and vehicle deals. Their partners have committed roughly 120,000 vehicles to the Uber network over the coming years. Uber's AVs are in 7 cities, with plans to expand to up to 15 by the end of 2026 and 28 by 2028. I’m extremely constructive on Uber. The valuation disconnect is exactly the opening I want, so I’m stepping in against the crowd. I also own Tesla, but my thesis doesn't require Tesla to replace Uber in the ride-hailing market. If you like my post, follow me @m0xt_ for more takes and updates. 🇺🇲 Twenty-five years on, that footage is worth sitting with for exactly what it withholds: nothing. No smoke, no sirens, commuters and a skyline going about an ordinary Tuesday, five minutes before 8:46am changed what those buildings meant forever. The clip's entire power is that it contains zero information about what's coming, which is precisely the point historical footage like this exists to preserve, the world as it looked in the last minutes it still made sense. We're publishing this on the anniversary itself, in a month that's carried its own weight. Nothing erases what September 11 was or what it still asks of anyone who covers conflict: that the ordinary morning and the catastrophic one are separated by nothing more than five minutes nobody sees coming. #September11

Welles Crowther was 24 years old. An equities trader working on the 104th floor of the South Tower. A young guy with a career ahead of him, who was also a volunteer firefighter. On September 11th, after the plane hit, he covered his nose and mouth with a red bandana and went to help. He found a stairway. Guided injured people through the smoke. Carried a badly wounded woman on his back. Then he went back upstairs. That’s the part I keep coming back to. He had helped people find a way down, and he turned around to reach the people still waiting for help. I try to imagine that decision. The noise, the smoke, the fear. I can’t honestly say I know what I would have done. Welles kept going back. He died when the South Tower collapsed. The people he helped didn’t know his name. They remembered the man in the red bandana. Later, they would learn who he was. I think about how young 24 really is. How much life he should have had left. And about the people who got to go home to their families because he was there. When we say “never forget,” these are the stories we need to keep telling. His name was Welles Crowther. He was 24. And he deserves to be remembered. Please share so we don't forget this hero.

the man behind @25YearsAgoLive is an historian for the 21st century. it's a new kind of work in a new kind of world, and today he prepares for his most ambitious task yet — introducing young americans to september 11th. proud to publish culture work like this on pirate wires.
We spoke with the man behind ‘2001 Live,’ the account live-tweeting news from 25 years ago. He’s about to lead his legions of followers through a social experiment in which they all collectively relive 9/11. “I see a lot of Gen Z people online justifying [9/11],” @MannyMarotta tells us, “saying it should have happened, that they wish it happened again.” To remedy that, he’s planning an immersive ‘simulation’ of 400+ tweets about the attack — complete with photos and video, timed down to the second — all posted as if they’re happening in real time. He says: “I want people to see.” Full story from @harrissockel 👇
