After a suggestion from @nine_oh_, I am going to re-write parts of the app to allow users to enter their own API keys which they can generate by going to developer.twitter.com/en/app. (1/2)

Twitter are restricting my API keys after tweets that have "unsolicited mentions". This is against their rules & even a small number of tweets with mentions of a single user is resulting in API key being restricted. Using your own means you can create new key when needed. (2/2)

Sorry both my API keys are restricted again, working with Twitter to get it sorted out.

Latest update to the app will fix recent issues but for how long, I don't know? Twitter have suggested (but when I asked specifically they wouldn't confirm) that only mentions of one user per tweet is allowed. Therefore if that is true, #ff #followfriday is banned from Twitter!

Note to avoid the attention of Twitter again the app is rate limited to 250 tweets (Twitter limit is 300) every 3 hour period spread across all users. So if you get a try again later message, try again in a few hours.
2
New version of the app has been uploaded with new API keys, awaiting Twitter approval and then posting tweets will work again.

Sorry everyone, my Twitter API account has been restricted so it is read only and can't post tweets. Trying to sort it out with Twitter.
