When I want to switch off, I love doing these kinds of studies, exploring types of armor based on photographic references.
It’s a fun way to practice, experiment, and just enjoy the process.

Couldn't decide on a hat so you get all 3. Number 2 is just goofy enough that I like it the most, but I don't think it's serious enough for the dark-fantasy setting of LAMENT lol.

When I used to draw just as a hobby with no expectations attached to it, that’s when I enjoyed it the most living in a bliss ignorance 🤣
Now I’m kind of in that same place again, but with 3D modeling my own shit and imagining them like the games I was obsessed with in the 90s.
Goals for the project:
1 Have fun designing characters using simple shapes and avoid over-detailing them.
2 Play with Blender.
3 Learn to make videos.
4 To keep dreaming that one day I’ll make a JRPG
