What a great way to start the day! Thank you @LamarUniversity for kicking off our Holly Daze!
BEYOND excited to have our first in-person author visit since March 2020! Thank you @BlueWillowBooks for bringing @SalinaYoon to @FielderElem. Students in grades K and 1 loved learning animal facts and hearing the newest penguin book! #fielderpride
I have the BEST volunteers! This is a picture of the people who make it possible for @FielderElem to have such a strong library program (minus the few who couldn't make it for the photo). #fielderpride #BlessedAndGrateful #katylibraries
So much fun incorporating STEM into library!

Check out our fun events happening tomorrow, Friday, 10/29! What book character will your Falcon dress up as? We hear our Admin Team has something fun planned!
#fielderpride
4th and 5th graders had so much fun today learning about @JerryCraft's writing and drawing process! How cool to learn that a reluctant reader doodling on Spanish homework turned into a multiple award winning, New York Times best-selling author! #fielderpride
Our Blu-Bots arrived today!! @FielderElem PK and K students will LOVE having these new class pets! Thanks @KatyISDEdFound! #grantsinaction #fielderpride #kisdelemtech #katyisdlibraries
Kindergarten book care is one of my favorite times of the year! Keep that silly pigeon away from the books!! #katylibraries #fielderpride

Rest in peace, Eric Carle. Your books are beloved by millions of children and families around the world. Carle passed away peacefully and surrounded by family members on May 23, 2021 at his summer studio in Northampton, Massachusetts. npr.org/2021/05/26/970974320…
Senior clap-out, Covid-19 style! Former Falcons returning to where it all began. #fielderpride
LOVE that @islacas and @CarolineCGuerra are such supporters of the @TXLA Bluebonnet program! For the past several years, they have made sure everyone in their classes read at least 5 books from the @TBABooks list! 😁 #katylibraries #fielderpride @katy_libraries

Grant season is here! BEYOND excited that all 3 grant writing teams were awarded their grants! That’s $13,963 to enhance educational experiences! Next year is going to be full of virtual reality, robotic classroom pets, and community Maker Nights 🎉🥳 #fielderpride
New book day! Can't wait to get this early reader chapter book into the hands of young students. It's not often you have a protagonist that uses a combination of a cochlear implant and sign language! @CapstonePub #weneeddiversebooks #katylibraries #fielderpride
Anytime! I learned alot myself from all the technology department presentations! #fielderpride
Thanks @FElibrary and @LaurenBHicks for helping @LibraryAllison and I present at the Leadership Katy ISD Tech Expo today. #katylibraries @katy_libraries
May the 4th be with you at the bookfair! Purchasing began today, and the weather was nice enough to stay dry (though windy) for our after school event. It was like a family reunion seeing everyone! #fielderpride #MayThe4thBeWithYou #katylibraries @scholastic
