I think this is about right. Nothing on Atari is that fun to play anymore. NES was much better, but it's still just so primitive. Many SNES games hold up, though. There's a reason when people make "retro" games, they tend to look like SNES and not NES.

Might be a hot take, but I don't think anything on the NES fully holds up. Mario 3, Mega Man 2 and the first Kirby are still standouts but all the NES classics have far superior follow ups on the SNES.

The Fruit Fly can play axle on controller I trained all 166,700 neurons in the MaleCNS v1.0 fruit fly connectome to play Axle in Apex Legends, using YOLOv5 plus video pretraining. With aim assist enabled, most of the neurons were unnecessary. #ApexLegends
