This year is their 3rd Annual Pumpkin Pour, taking place October 21–22! The event features a dramatic molten metal demonstration, turning pumpkins into unique metal castings. 🔥

👏 First lab experience for freshman students at Saltillo Tech! Students are exploring metalcasting, building new skills, and discovering what’s possible in the world of manufacturing. 🔥

A 2025 UW-Platteville Mechanical Engineering graduate and FEF scholarship recipient, Kevin is now a Production Engineer at Olson Aluminum Castings, working in process optimization, defect prevention, fixture design, and new equipment acquisitions.
Meet FEF alum Henry Wiggins! After earning his B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from OSU, he began a career as a Corporate Metallurgical Engineer at Matalco in Lordstown, OH. Today, he’s proud to be working on ways to reduce costs through more efficient grain refiner usage
