It has been an amazing transplant year at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. We surpassed the volume of previous years. Our abdominal transplant programs completed milestones in liver (322), kidney (506), kidney/pancreas (52), and pancreas alone (2). New innovations abound - robotic kidney transplantation and living donation, machine perfusion of organs, advances in organ retrieval, transplant oncology, training and educational excellence, and research initiatives that will shape the future of transplantation. Our programs have continued to provide our patients with excellence in clinical outcomes, hope, and unparalleled experience.
