30 year old injury ridden 2nd choice fullback who got to know he would start just 5 hours before the match bodied Yamal. Lol.
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Lucas Hernández only found out he would START against Barcelona 2,5 hours before kick off.
Luis Enrique had given him ONE SPECIFIC MISSION: STOP LAMINE YAMAL.
The instructions were clear: Make sure Lamine Yamal had NO SPACE from the very first minutes.
Lucas Hernández executed the plan PERFECTLY!

Forget the Prem, they'll struggle in every other league that's not ligue 1. They've got a massive advantage with their domestic league being shit which they even reschedule according to their UCL needs and rotate their squad massively.
PSG lost Kvaratskhelia (ACL), Marquinhos (thigh) and Ousmane Dembélé (thigh) against Barcelona. Nuno Mendes was already out.
The strange thing is that PSG rarely start any of their main players in up to 30 Ligue 1 games. Their average is around 25, yet they struggle with injuries.
Imagine if they play in a competitive and intense league like the Premier League, how would they manage?
Hate to say it, but City actually played better. The only problem was Donnarumma is a retard and Sofanov made some really good saves.
The only team that actually gave a decent performance against PSG were Arsenal. Only lost on pens. Every other top side got blasted against them. Prem is still the best league in Europe, the rest can cope.
That Neal Gardner guy is actually coping man. "Flick focused on La liga, El Classico is more important" lol. Everybody saw the game and besides a few moments your team got destroyed. And didn't you criticize the Prem for the same scoreline against City?
The only self aware Barca fan probably. Don't get me wrong, they're playing great football under Flick, but most of their fans act like it's 2nd coming of Christ or something. Just like any other side that's not PSG,Barca also has to earn their spot.
Last season, I was so convinced Barcelona would win the Champions League. Even after Atlético Madrid beat us 2-0 at Camp Nou in the first leg, I was still confident we would pull off the comeback. But after we got knocked out, I told myself that this team still had a long way to go before winning the Champions League and that I needed to keep my expectations very low going into the next season.
Now, this season, we have started well, but let's be honest: most of our wins have come against weaker La Liga opposition, and the overall level of the league looks even weaker this season. Rodri was so surprised by the level of our opponents that he had to mention it during Valencia game. Of course, we love our football and enjoy watching Barcelona. We play some of the best football in the world, even if much of it has come against weaker opposition.
Today, we faced a formidable European side, and we lost. Honestly, I'm glad this defeat came early because it has brought me back down to earth and reminded me to keep my expectations in check.
I'll enjoy the football, celebrate our wins and support the team, but my Champions League expectations are staying very low. And why shouldn't they? Since joining Barcelona, Hansi Flick has beaten only one major European opponent, Bayern Munich, and he is now in his third season.
One thing is certain though, scoring goals against La liga sides isn't a big task. Besides their top 4 teams, all are dire. And then PSG proved that as well.
Barca Twitter too quiet tonight. Were mocking the Prem last week just to lose 4 2 tonight. We can also say now, that's the club who are topping the La liga table undefeated. Lol.
Realised the difference Wirtz makes in this team btw. We created almost no chances in 1st half if we ignore Rio. But then serious questions need to be asked about the contribution certain players are making.
It genuinely felt like that lol. We gave a chance to our youngsters and won. Iraola is risking experiments even in UCL nights. Meanwhile Slot, no comments man.
Grav btw, showed again why he doesn't really fit anywhere properly. Had a bit of a non chalant attitude again tonight.
