It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Leonard Cobb, Medic One co-founder and Medic One Foundation founder. Thousands of lives have been saved as a result of his incredible work. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Cobb’s wife, Else, and their family.

This was, by far, the most popular Tweet we've ever Tweeted. So let's dust it off and re-share it for anyone who still needs to see it:
Agonal breathing is present in approximately 60% of patients with VF cardiac arrest. Yet the presence of agonal breathing will often confuse the caller and/or dispatcher into thinking the patient is not in cardiac arrest. Remember to ask if the patient is breathing NORMALLY.

We are saddened to learn that a hero in the world of resuscitation has passed. Dr. Guy Knickerbocker, the Father of CPR, will live on through his legacy of work and the countless lives he saved. We are so grateful to him. legacy.com/us/obituaries/rea…
