Blackwall Tunnel will be closed to southbound traffic across a few weekends in June (including this weekend).

We are very proud of our amazing heritage. However, over the course of the Cemetery’s history, we have lost much.
Perhaps the most egregious example of this is the CofE chapel. Once the heart of the cemetery, it was demolished by the GLC after they bought the site in 1966.
