Kevin McCaa, 40, of Milwaukee, was sentenced to 38 years in federal prison on Wednesday for the murder of U.S. Postal Service letter carrier Aundre Cross in 2022. According to court documents, Cross was delivering mail in Milwaukee on December 9, 2022, when he was shot in the head and killed. Evidence established that Kevin McCaa and Charles Ducksworth Jr. were responsible for the homicide. McCaa and Ducksworth surveilled the letter carrier for over 30 minutes prior to the homicide and targeted him because they thought he had stolen their drug package. After the homicide, they threw the firearm in a nearby creek, changed their phone numbers, and disposed of clothing. McCaa and Ducksworth have been in federal custody since their arrest for these offenses on December 27, 2022. The investigation of this case was conducted by FBI Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Police Department, the United States Postal Inspection Service, with the assistance of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office and the Wauwatosa Police Department. If your company has hired remote IT workers, there’s a chance they may be a state-controlled IT worker from North Korea. Thousands of North Korean-trained IT workers are posing as legitimate remote employees by using stolen identities to dupe companies into hiring them. The millions of dollars they have earned from unwitting businesses are funneled back to the North Korean government. The scheme relies on a network of facilitators – including Americans – who are paid to appear on camera, participate in job interviews, verify fraudulent identities, and connect the company's laptops to their home internet so it looks as if the remote workers are based in the U.S. More information: ic3.gov/PSA/2026/PSA261013.

The most important thing when reporting a crime to IC3 is to report it quickly, with as much information as possible, including: 🔹Cryptocurrency wallets 🔹Email addresses 🔹Phone numbers 🔹Usernames 🔹Transaction IDs And if money was sent or received via wire transfer, information about the accounts used to send and receive the transfer are also important clues for FBI investigators.
