ANOTHER Most Wanted Fraudster addition – our second of this week – as this @FBI hunts down alleged fraudsters all over the world led by @POTUS, @VP and @WHFraudTF with our DOJ partners @AGToddBlanche. 6 subjects arrested so far, successfully brought back from four different continents, on the run for over 4,000 days combined and allegedly responsible for over $2 billion in fraud. Newest subject: MARY CAROLE MCDONNELL, wanted for her alleged involvement in a fraud scheme in Los Angeles and Orange Counties in California. Beginning in approximately July of 2017, and continuing to May of 2018, McDonnell is alleged to have devised and participated in a scheme to fraudulently obtain money, funds, assets, and property owned by Banc of California. McDonnell allegedly and fraudulently obtained a total of approximately $14.7 million from the bank to which she knew she was not entitled and has not paid back. She also allegedly defrauded additional financial institutions in a similar fashion, with an estimated loss of over $15 million. A federal arrest warrant was issued for McDonnell in December 2018 charging her with Bank Fraud and Aggravated Identity Theft – and she has been on the run since. It is believed McDonnell is currently in Dubai. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for the arrest and conviction of Mary Carole McDonnell. This FBI has brought back two high-value targets from Nigeria to the United States to face justice for alleged sextortion crimes targeting minors. 🔺 Adebola Festus Adekunle and Mudasiru Afeez Olawale were arrested in Nigeria in 2023 and are now on U.S. soil. 🔺 The charges include sexual exploitation of minors, coercion and enticement, extortion, distribution and production of child sexual abuse material, and other offenses. 🔺 One of these alleged schemes resulted in the death of a child. They were overseas for three years. Now they’re back on U.S. soil to answer for the charges against them. -DKP🇺🇸

Together, law enforcement shared intelligence, protected venues and addressed threats before they could put fans at risk. By the end of the tournament, nearly 1,600 drones had been detected in restricted airspace and more than 700 operating illegally had been seized. It was a massive security operation, and it worked because agencies at every level planned early and operated as one team.

FBI personnel are fully engaged on the situation overseas. Last night I instructed our Counterterrorism and intelligence teams to be on high alert and mobilize all assisting security assets needed. Our JTTFs throughout the country are working 24/7, as always, to address and disrupt any potential threats to the homeland. While the military handles force protection overseas, the @FBI remains at the forefront of deterring attacks here at home - and will continue to have our team work around the clock to protect Americans.
