Having a bot to capably place complex orders, utilize GC and track cards properly, and manage all buying sheets wasn’t something I expected so soon. I no longer have a reason to purchase myself nor hire someone to do so. Amazing. This is the worst AI will ever be.

If you’re not using Grok Bot, Muse, Dots, etc. at this point to handle a bunch of your admin and data analysis, you’re not doing yourself any favors. As a slim business structure (1 VA at the moment), agents have comfortably been able to take many things off my plate and allow me to focus on the important aspects of the business with my limited time as I still hold my 9-5. Yes, when I leave my 9-5, I will hire and train more help, but drastically less personnel than I originally planned due to improved agent functionality. There’s just not much need for people to hire some of the nitty gritty of admin work anymore.

We have actually made flying cars before Seller Central has designed a usable interface for its platform. What a time to be alive.

Amazon’s AI decided it should take out a whole product category today. Just a typical Wednesday on the platform! In all sincerity, stuff like this makes me realize how important it is to diversify on other platforms. Never know what Amazon will feel like butchering next.

What brings you satisfaction with your business? As much as I continue to grow, hit goals, etc. there never seems to be a point of being satisfied. I’m at a point where I could quit my 9-5 and retire my wife and I still feel like I’m coming up short. What does it for y’all?

Man speaks the truth. I don’t understand those that choose to be broke these days and live the perpetual rat race. It’s not easy, but you have to take control of your life. Make a plan. Put it in motion. Take care of your family and build wealth.
It's 2026. You are paying $6 for gas. Your dollar stretches less every year. You cannot afford a home in the town you grew up in. You were told to go to college, make 100k, invest in your 401(k), and everything will fall into place for you by the time you're 65. But we are living in a new time. The playbook we were given growing up is outdated. You SHOULD be upset. But it's up to you if you choose to REMAIN upset. Your ticket to break free from this perpetual state of financial stress is simple - you need to sell something. I don't care if it's Pokemon cards, handmade goods at a craft show, sourdough bread, feet pics - ANYTHING. And yes, here's a harsh truth - you are going to need to work more than the typical 40 hour week for a few years if you really want to be financially free. We don't get to make the rules, but we do get to make the choice to either remain a slave to this system or break free. Stop being upset, start grinding.

Wrapped up an all-time month for me for September. Margins were stronger than ever and inventory was flowing! I also invested the most capital in our business history so we should be at a good launch-point to kick off a crazy Q4. Looking forward to grabbing some more capital to make some major moves the rest of this year!

Meta's Muse app is a fascinating case study in hiding complexity in AI tools. The app is very simple and fast by default. But if you poke around, you can install custom CLIs in its VM (under a /workspace/tools folder) and inspect its entire log of tools calls. Complex searches can also run for several minutes. All browser searches can be inspected, and you can check the actions performed by browser use and how they were evaluated. I think what @alexandr_wang and team did right here is making Muse very capable for "normal people" who have no idea that AI "can just do things" now, while also letting power users like us tinker with it and take a look at what goes on under the hood. I'm VERY interested to see how OpenAI responds to this (and Grok Bot) with their upcoming "o" agent and how consumer-friendly they can make it.

Currently repricing while Codex builds me an app, Muse checks all my GC balances, and my OpenClaw agent completes general admin tasks. Amazing how far tech has come in a short period of time. Productivity and efficiency with AI makes it rather easy to run a business lean.

Couldn’t agree with this more!
I used to think I wanted retirement so I could sit around and do nothing. The older I get, the more I realize that isn’t the goal. I don’t mind working. I like having a mission. I just want it to be something I want to do, not something I have to do

Surround yourself with people that genuinely enjoy what they do. Those that don’t see running their business as “boring” or “just to pay the bills” are more likely to inspire you and challenge you to be a better version of yourself. Life is all about learning and growing and you’re much more likely to do both of those things and enjoy greater overall successes surrounded by those that enjoy the hustle and grind of entrepreneurship.

I used to think I had big goals. I dreamt of one day being able to replace my 9-5 salary. I thought that would be almost impossible. A few years later, I’m wondering how many times over I can multiply that salary. Running your own business really is amazing. Dream bigger!
