Itโs a hospital. If you donโt want to get well, respectfully stay home.
Hate is such a strong word for people that were trying to HELP KEEP YOU & YOUR CHILD ALIVE.

I hated them. I was admitted to the hospital during my 3rd trimester and I stayed there for a month. It was torture

If you grew up in Warri delta state you would know no one says โOmoโ it is โhooorโ or โshuuuuoโ ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ
โOmoโ as how? โOmoโ in Warri pidgin is not an exclamation, it means โchildโ and thereโs a big difference in pronounciation because โOmomoโ is an urhobo & edo word for child & โOmoteโ girl child.
So which Warri did you ever hear anyone use โOmoโ as an exclamation or filler word? What happened to โOkpetuโ โhooorโ โshuuuuuโ and โEbabuโ???

The post is not about who speaks better pidgin, but which native languages influenced it the most.
I grow up for Warri, Delta people sabi speak pidgin die but apart from "Omo" i don't know which other word they added to pidgin, unlike Yoruba wey don contribute so many words..

Many Nigerians lack comprehension skills. They read things to argue and insult, not to understand and dialogue logically

Also, being a healthcare provider doesnโt automatically make you the best person to understand a condition, na.
Knowing what a person is going through medically is not the same as knowing what it feels like to go through it.
You may know all the theory, but knowing the theory isnโt the same as understanding the experience. Thatโs where your knowledge is still limited.
For example, you may know that pregnancy can cause fatigue, but do you really understand what that fatigue feels like if youโve never been pregnant? Iโm not talking about the kind of tiredness you feel after running, shopping, or having a busy day. Iโm talking about waking up tired even after sleeping, feeling completely drained by the simplest tasks, and sometimes struggling to do things that used to come so easily. Itโs a different kind of exhaustion, one that can affect your body and mind in ways you may never fully grasp from reading a textbook or studying its symptoms.
You can explain the hormonal changes responsible for it, describe its symptoms, and even recommend ways to manage it. But until you experience it yourself, you canโt claim to know exactly how it feels. You understand the condition medically, but you donโt necessarily understand the lived experience.

Oversleeping has always been my quietest cry for help. The moment I start sleeping through entire days, just know something inside me is carrying more than it can explain out loud.

Before I go ahead and mute this thread Iโd like to make one thing very clear:
I find it absolutely ridiculous that healthcare workers are one of the only professions who arenโt allowed to vent about a bad day at work without people blaming THEM for their shitty work environment.

I curled up on the chair in the room while I was watching DJ Switchโs live video in my disheveled hair.
I cried and cried till my face hurt. I hyperventilated till my body started to shake. I couldnโt believe my eyes. We were so close to victory, we were almost at the finish line.
