On 30 September, @FAOROK met with the Mayor of Buan County, Kwon Ik-hyeon, to discuss cooperation on agriculture, fisheries and local development.
The two sides exchanged views on opportunities for collaboration, including cultural exchanges related to agriculture and fisheries, and looked forward to their next meeting in Rome.

Science-based food safety, action on antimicrobial resistance and international cooperation are key to advancing #OneHealth in agrifood systems.
Oh Yu-Kyoung, Minister of Food and Drug Safety of the Republic of Korea, highlighted these priorities at FAO’s Global Conference on One Health in Agrifood Systems in Rome.
Discussions continue through 23 September, bringing countries and partners together to strengthen cooperation and advance One Health in agrifood systems.
