First game in Europe and already two goals!
Kevin Trad, 19, made a strong debut with KF Laçi in the Albanian Cup, scoring twice. 🇱🇧👏
I founded FA Lebanon in 2015, when these U17 players were around 6 years old.
For years, I’ve noticed one thing: Lebanese football has a huge mental barrier. Whenever a team gets close to winning a competition or decisive game, we often fail to get over the line.
MABROUK! 🇱🇧🏆 Lebanon have won the U17 West Asian Championship!
The Cedars didn’t concede a single goal throughout the entire competition. 🧱
A great mentality from the team from start to finish. Hopefully, this is something we can build on for the future.
Pedro Budib, 22, 🇲🇽 Pachuca defender, scored Lebanon’s only goal.
Kyrgyzstan won 3–1.
The problems were clear: individual mistakes, and a midfield lacking both control and creativity. Too slow in possession, too little intensity. Déjà vu.
Kyrgyzstan lead 2–0 after two avoidable individual errors.
Too much individualism in attack, while in midfield and defence, some players have lacked the mentality, composure and intensity required at international level.
45 minutes to show character and fight back.
