Tag, we’re it!🎣 Inspired by @AquaticTracking we took a closer look at how the FACT Network contributes to tracking species at risk of extinction. Within the FACT Network, researchers have tagged 140 different species and 43% of them are at risk of extinction. ⬇️

These include: 🟠 Vulnerable: 25% 🟣 Endangered: 11% 🔴 Critically Endangered: 7% Tracking the movements of threatened species helps natural resource managers make informed conservation decisions. It also helps protect species that aren’t yet at risk so we can keep them that way
