The first rule of Nigerian freelancing is to never turn down a job even if you cannot handle it. Outsource to someone else. You can choose to split the money with them.
Freelancers and entrepreneurs, be honest. Have you ever turned down a job or client because you felt you weren't good enough to handle it?

Remote workers, I hate to admit this, but I think reality is beginning to set in. Remote job opportunities have reduced, and if we don't prepare for what's coming, a lot of us will struggle financially. Let's be honest. Many of the opportunities available today are freelance gigs. Some last months, some last a few years, but not all of them offer long-term security. That's why diversifying your income is more important now than ever. If you're a remote worker who spends money anyhow because you believe another job will always come, please wake up. Your current income is not guaranteed to last. Build other income streams while you still have the money to do so.

Social Media Marketing 101: - Your posts are visible like m@d. Your mutuals are either not online to engage with them or they don't find them interesting or educational. Work on your creativity. - The more you engage with your close mutuals, the more reach you get. - Don't joke with testimonials, stats and reviews. - You must know how to trigger people with words and numbers but don't lie. Ragebait positively, tap into your viewers emotions. - Storytelling will x3 your views if you know the rules (it doesn't have to be long form content). - Be original. Let people fall in love with your style.

I made my first $2k from ghostwriting with this Tecno Pop 2. This phone showed me shege but God plan was different. Crazy times😂
There’s someone who has lied to himself that the reason he’s not making progress is because he doesn’t have a laptop yet. Or the reason he’s not making contents is because he doesn’t have a good camera or can’t pay editors. Excuses. You’re the reason you’re still where you are. If you really want to grow, you will use what you have to get what you want. You’ll start small, and run it up. A lot of people blow up on TikTok everyday, no editing, just raw, low quality contents, but you’re there making excuses. Many people are trading with their phones, but you think you need a laptop to learn about it. You’re not ready. The tools you lack isn’t why you’re stuck, not using what you have is. If you want it badly enough, you’ll find a way, not make excuses. The truth is, you’re not ready.

A little reintroduction 🥂 Over the past few months, I’ve been intentional about growing my skills in project management and operations, and it’s been exciting to see how much my work has evolved. I’ve had the opportunity to work as an Operations Manager for a Canadian photography company, a Project Manager for a fintech brand based in the USA and an event management company, and double as the Project and Operations Lead at the fintech. My career journey has taken me from Virtual Assistant to Executive Assistant, and now, fully into Project Management and Operations. These days, I’m focused on identifying bottlenecks, building better systems, improving workflows, coordinating people and projects, and making sure things actually work as they should. I’m no longer just helping to get things done. I’m building the systems and structure that make it easier for things to get done. So, if you’re new here, hi! I’m Lilian, a Project and Operations Manager who loves turning moving parts into well-run systems. And this is the chapter I’m excited to grow in. Let’s connect if you are into ops or project management

Daniel just did what 80% of people in his position would do (even if they deny it)- just on a different set of assets. So the $1500 would have finished either ways. The question is what should he have done differently?

There is nothing weird in transitioning into another niche or industry if your current niche is not working for you as you want. I looked for job as a data analyst till I got tired and frustrated. I eventually dropped it. Coding toyed with my mental health. I left too. After weeks of self evaluation, I discovered writing was what I really f*cjed with. I started writing online. I got monetized by learning social media and content marketing. If you are currently in this phase, stop overthinking it. You will be alright.

You can make 10k everyday from your digital products especially ebooks and templates. I have my own strategies but if you want to achieve this faster, you can use @egbokavictory_'s method. (I'm looking for a content strategist btw)

Grow your earning power. Saving has a ceiling, income doesn't. Invest in skills, relationships and ventures that raise what you can earn and build more than one income stream so a single setback doesn't derail you.
