Somewhere watching a film
Joined February 2011
“Monster Man” (1/10) When the main characters are annoying, you just want them to die. After watching this premise, you want everyone involved in the production to find a new career. It’s badly directed and cast. Dialogue is frustrating because it just repeats and repeats.

“Beau is Afraid” (6/10) This is one long 3-hour storyline. It’s completely insane at times. Others it’s laugh-out-loud funny. Characters appear and disappear, so you need to pay attention. The course of the film is not linear, and might be hard for some to follow.

“Fool’s Paradise” (1/10) When your main actor doesn’t say much, other than one line at the end of the film. Everyone here needs to raise their game. Most are just as bad as the lead. Dialogue doesn’t help with the story, other than to annoy the viewer. Just a misfire.

“Hypnotic” (3/10) With a great opening heist, one would hope the storyline continues in this direction. It follows down a weird hole of dumb plot lines and silly ideas. Makes no sense and the twist ending feels silly and empty. I guess one can’t expect much from the lead involved

“Love Again” 1/10 Another rom-com that forgets the funny. The leads look lost as the storyline involves a singer. Unsure of the focus of the plot. The lead is terrible and the plot device is numbing. The leads cannot save this as each character has an inability to convey anything

“The Mother” (3/10) From the look of the lead, great looking, nice makeup and hair. Strange for a woman hiding out from society. To the dialogue, it is basic and lacks depth for all. It’s also morning and the action is dull. Make this premise dirty and you might have something.

“Black Demon” (0/10) The dialogue is awful from the opening scene. Cliché characters are rampant throughout the storyline. The monster looks awful and is not seen doing anything important. Characters are basic and lack depth. Works well with Josh Lucas acting. Waste of time.

“Guardians of the Galaxy 3” (7/10) After a slow start, the storyline comes together quickly. Lots of fun action and quick dialogue. Characters come alive and have better interactions with each other than in previous films. Solid backstory for one of the Guardians. End credits meh

“Big George Foreman” (4/10) Another Wiki-biopic where everything that happens is just an event. Nothing feels authentic, only a dramatic representation of what said event was. Actors look nothing like their real life counterparts. Foreman’s mother disappears to never reappear.
