The crypto community is finally waking up to the coordinated hate and false narratives that were pushed against $CATE and directed at @PoorGoat_. Thankfully, through the investigation efforts of @badattrading_ and many other community sleuths, @PoorGoat_ has been fully vindicated from any wrongdoing. It’s great to see many large accounts rescind their claims and even apologize to PoorGoat, who has been nothing but an inspirational community leader, someone who has gone above and beyond to do right by the Catecoin community. A true test of character is how someone reacts under extreme pressure. PoorGoat didn’t step away; he stepped forward. I know he’s probably trying to get a few hours of sleep after everything. I can personally testify that after $CATE launched, I aped in around $2M, DCA’d under $2M, and have been buying ever since, when we had the first major dip after the known serial dev dumped his bundle and moved onto another launch, followed by the first CTO leader banning many of us from the X community, I got in contact with PoorGoat in comments initially, as were many other community members. FOMO accounts showed doxxed wallets buying in, including PoorGoat himself, and he has made it clear he isn't looking to profit until $CATE reaches big market cap numbers. After fighting through everything and breaking ATH purely through @PoorGoat_'s onboarding of normies and retail into crypto, without any KOL deals, without paid promotions, without sending top up tokens to anyone, just a true volunteer community effort, we saw what happened, parabolic breakout. Then came the false claims from the BNB @catecoin account, claiming ownership over the words "Catecoin" and "Cate" and using those claims by sending legal latters to X, CoinGecko, Pump.fun, and Moonshot. Thankfully, after reviewing the information provided, @Pumpfun’s legal team identified that their IP claim was suspended. Special thanks to @a1lon9 and the team for reviewing the situation. We have seen strong support from pump.fun, and I believe they understand the importance of standing with @PoorGoat_ and the Catecoin community, especially as $CATE has been one of the strongest-performing memecoins with some of the highest trading volume recently. We expect X @nikitabier and @coingecko @bobbyong to restore $CATE Catecoin on @solana soon. It is concerning that platforms can be influenced by false IP ownership claims without a full review. This hurts the entire crypto space. They only have a design trademark, which explains why they have struggled to gain traction and are relying on attacking @PoorGoat_ and $CATE instead of building their own community. xitter.cf/MoEthWhale/status/2082… This even sparked an initial sell-off, intiially ordinary wallets, then we saw I presume a few old KOL-allocated wallets remainign that dumped, followed by a layer of stop losses being triggered, followed by FUD spreading across the market, and then the fomo platform breaking down (which caused most of the issue). The community expects meaningful support back from @fomo for the $CATE community, supporting one of the biggest memecoin communities of normies. The good news? $CATE is stronger today than when it broke the $80M ATH in the last 24 hours. Better distribution. A 70K+ community. $60M+ 24H volume. Major events ahead.
