It would appear I need to stop replying to broken politically radicalised dems who hate Elon. My timeline is borked.

Elon Musk was instrumental in ensuring that Ukraine had the communications to keep going in the first weeks of the war.
Without Starlink Ukraine would most likely have fallen in the first few weeks.
The EU and especially Germany prevaricated giving Russia time to take stock, refurbish, rearm and dig in. Creating a WW1 situation. It was 11 months before Germany got the fence post out of it's ass and decided to allow weapons to go to Ukraine. Note, most of the other Leopard 2 tanks in Europe were leased from Germany. They could not "give" the tanks to Ukraine because Germany had not said yes.
Do NOT blame Elon for what is going on today. He did more than most and allowed Ukraine the chance to throw Russia off. Just as did Johnson who had to fight his cabinet to pre position sufficient NLAW in Ukraine with training for them to make a decisive impact in the first weeks of the war.
Germany and the US, with the Abrams, prevaricated just long enough for Russia to dig in, build the most comprehensive tank defences since WW2 and totally negate the benefit of these tanks.
Try getting your facts straight. Ukraine is not currently ruled by Russia in no small part due to Elon Musk.
You are a bunch of bloody ingrates.

I hope people will take the time to listen to this woman. I hope you will hear this with your own ears so you can understand what these people are doing. This past week they resurrected the USAID flag - what does that tell you? Firstly, they never give up. Not even in defeat. They fight back as if it is a God given right to give away millions & millions of your tax dollars to foreign nations to further their ideology globally. They act as if the election of someone who opposes DEI is a war crime & they marshall their resources & move to private groups where they continue to organize & plan how to subvert the will of the people who just defeated them. They do not whine about their own side - they stick together & they do not stop.
Let that be a lesson to all those who do nothing but bitch about this Administration. Whatever your grips, legitimate or not, don’t be so foolish that you let these people take back the power they lost. Don’t give up. Don’t surrender this hard-won ground. Because these people have not gone away. They are waiting, subverting, planning & most especially preparing. They were royally obliterated in the last election so what did they do? They started planning for the midterms. Instead of giving four years to Pres Donald Trump, their plan is to give him two.
Stay home in the midterms and you let that happen. Shrug your shoulders, and this is on you. Ignore the threat, and you only have yourself to blame.
@dararepublican the answer to your question about when this becomes treason is very simple: it is when they collude/conspire with an enemy of our country. An enemy is someone who is declared, like a foreign nation during a war. Or a domestic enemy like Antifa, as they have been declared a domestic terrorist organization.
Both treason & sedition are efforts to undermine our government and destroy our country. And your work here is evidence of a crime. This hurts all Americans and we have seen this before in 2020, when reporter, Millie Weaver, exposed a call just like this among federal employees who were still employed and planning how to subvert Pres Donald Trump after the 2020 election.
So far these people have gotten away with their crimes. But they are still crimes. People really need to pay attention to what you are exposing because this is an enemy like none we have ever faced: those who gain power again this way have no intention of ever ceding any of it to their adversaries ever again.
Thank you to all three of you for exposing these people. Please God someone in power will actually hold them accountable.

I've liked your work for a long time but you are totally on the wrong side of this situation.
If you want to get the UK to create a serious capability for Space then get together with Perter Hague @peterrhague of shared family name, who is tirelessly advocating for a UK space capability.
Now some numbers.
10,000 satellites. That is how many Starlink are in orbit today for SpaceX.
12 million users. That is the number of users, mostly personal, who subscribe to Starlink. I am one.
10 million, the number of kits a year planned to be manufactured by the end of 2026. 5.4m was achieved early 2025. Starlink PCB manufacturing is the largest in the US.
60, the number of Starlink V3 satellites which will fit in a Starship launch
10, the multiplier in capacity that a single Starlink V3 satellite has compared to the V2
30, the number of planned flights "per day" for Starship when Louisiana is fully developed.
20, the number of flights "per year" that Ariane 6 is projected to be capable of
30, the number of (Starlink V2 class), satellites an Ariane 6 can launch
4, the number of Starlink V3 satellites required to exceed the entire bandwidth of the proposed IRIS2 290 satellite constellation. 3.3Tb/s IRIS2 compared to 4Tb/s for 4x Starlink V3
100,000, the final target for the sustainable Starlink V3 constellation
1 million, the target constellation for SpaceXSI AI-1 inference compute datacentre satelleites.
Today Ariane is launching about 6 times per year. Has a backlog stretching years at that cadence and has no path to 20 flights a year this decade.
The Scale of SpaceX is superpower nation scale.
The scale of Arianespace and ESA is 3rd world banana republic in terms of space. China is second to SpaceX and a LONG way behind.
So if you want to ask the question, learn what the reality is. SpaceX is building manufacturing in Bastrop Texas for 10GW of solar per year, AI-1 satellites to host that 10GW of solar and component and terminal production to vastly exceed the current 10m per year.
By 2030 there will be close to 50m users of Starlink all over the world. Users who, in the most part, have no viable alternative.
Now other data to see if you truly get it.
Starbase Louisiana, initial 10 launch mounts for Starship, final, over 12. $100bn committed investment. This is 11 years of the ESA budget.
Tefafab, where they will be producing all the chips for the AI-1 satellites. $119bn committed investment. But this is 50% Tesla so we will half it. That is another 6.5 years of the ESA budget combined.
SpaceX, a commercial space company, has committed 17.5 years of the Entire ESA budget to TWO projects which will deliver Starlink and AI compute at levels nobody can compete with.
It is all very well making political statements. But unless you have the knowledge behind it, you are just going to look stupid.
Like all the "EU is great forever" idiots.
You are a journalist. Information should be your monarch. This was an information free question.
Bot story 2 I hit an issue I could not easily work around.
I needed an app from a company. I went to the store, downloaded it and it demanded I have Windows 11 to install it.
Now I'm not being strong armed into that pile of stinking excrement, so I did my usual and looked around for an older W10 version I could locally install.
Looking around told me they disabled the old app from logging in and if I wanted to log in I would need the new app which would force me onto the OS from hell.
There were no articles or posts or anything else with "follow these instructions and it will work".
So I ran up bot, explained to it what I needed and it did a bit of research and explained that a flag had been set in the installer to "require" W11.
It offered to download the app, open it up, remove the flag, rebuild it without the flag and install it.
Seemed to be a good idea to me. So I told Bot to go do so and gave it the permission to enable Dev mode and get on with it.
We had some issues with Kaspersky and SSL certs being injected and I did have to put some exceptions in to allow Bot to get the file down and do the work.
Bot did the download, patch, repack and sideload. The app works perfectly. This is no surprise to me, I run 32 bit Windows 95 apps under Windows 10 no issue at all.
I shall be getting it installed on all my machines, I did a second one on Monday.
Bot story one.
I wanted to download X video's. Trying to find something without paying for it which is not crap is not a really simple.
I had been reading about bot and deciding that the number of subscriptions I'm signed up to is not changing any time soon when I thought about using Bot for this.
So I installed bot and see what it would cost me to get it done. To which I made the pleasant discovery that I could use my X premium+ without extra charge. Something I had been told I could not do.
I explained to Bot what I wanted and about 5 minutes later had a command line script which would download video's from X.
I then explained that I don't want to automatically download into my home directory and would like to be able to choose the directory. Also I am not a knuckle dragging Linux Admin, I like to use a GUI and I like to get some status on what I'm downloading.
5 minutes later, downloader gui, choose your own destination directory, get download metrics as it is downloading and a button to "open folder" once it is done.
The days of me going searching on the web for solutions to small needs like this are, I think, going away.
People. Who block me to have this last word get blocked. 100%

We didn't do that when in the EU so why live in the rotting corpse? All that is needed to resolve this problem is some bacbone.

So basically they want the UK "black hole" removed from the budget so they don't need to keep paying it.
That means all the states the UK was funding lose their money. Something they could not agree at the last budget and it was too short term to make any radical changes. They had all approached the budget assuming the UK would simply never leave.
But they will never tell you that and if you did not follow the last budget, you won't know.

Despite being in a iterative test phase, Starship launched 10 times in two years, that's more than many finalized rockets have flown in their 3 years of existence
And as great as China's space program is, they're not beating the US/Artemis to the Moon as they have no care for a race and are just building out their own lunar manned program.
Yall have lost your minds

You are emoting, not analysing.
Barrier to entry is so high that Waymo is never going to make it and Tesla may take another 18 months to 3 years with AI5 and maybe even AI6 required to complete the "march of 9's".
It may come in a month and on AI4 and it may not. But it is NOT there, Waymo is nowhere near and there are Two and ONLY Two real competitors. One of which is boutique and likely never to get out of the basement and the other is trying to brute force the solution with a huge hammer and little finesse.
Until you understand what this really is you are going to sound as totally out of touch as you really are.

You know I was pretty pissed every time some EU fanatic hassled me when I talked about the UK AND Europe. Telling me that the UK Is part of Europe why was I being so insular.
Now those same EU obsessed talk about Europe and ignore the UK. Apparently we suddenly didn't belong to "Europe" any more but Ireland, further west, did.
The EU is not Europe and it is about time everyone understood that.
Now if you are talking about the EU, I'll go with you to a degree. The ambition of the EU Commission knows no bounds. But the ambitions of member states are rather different in places and this creates a schizophrenic version of the EU.
Take your meds and come back when you are aligned and things will look much better.
