The bond market is voting. Not with a campaign ad. With yield. U.S. rates, Europe spreads, Japan pressure, oil risk, deficits, refinancing calendars. Different countries. Same question: who buys the next bond?

Bitcoin is not a smooth chart or a guaranteed hedge. It has volatility. It can get hit when liquidity tightens. It does not remove every risk. But it also has no Treasury auction, refinancing calendar, or official buyer defending the supply rule.

Bruh getting his ass kicked. Bessent is panicking
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent tells Axios's @mikeallen he thinks Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh is "doing well." "If I look at my call sheet every day, I probably have a hundred calls to make. I think if you're Fed chair, you probably have three. So part of my job is to make sure that he can hear what's going on in the wider world."

1/ The SEC just put crypto custody back on the table. That matters. Advisers and funds need rules for holding client assets. But do not confuse custody rules with Bitcoin sovereignty.

5/ Wall Street can adopt Bitcoin. It cannot acquire authority over Bitcoin by holding it. A custodian can hold the asset. It cannot hold the rule.

For those that understand macro better than myself… What the hell is going on? Does the administration have a plan that I am just not seeing? Do they have a goal here? Shit seems broken otherwise CC @LukeGromen @jameslavish any insight?

1/ The bond market just sent the debt receipt. 30Y Treasury yield: just over 5.45%, highest since 2004. 10Y Treasury yield: around 5.158%, highest zone since 2007. That is not a meme. It is the market pricing government promises.

4/ Bitcoin is not a smooth chart or a guaranteed hedge. It has volatility. It can get hit when liquidity tightens. It does not pay a coupon. But it also has no Treasury auction, refinancing calendar, or interest-expense line.

5/ Nodes verify the rule. Bond markets price the promise. Bitcoin has volatility. Treasuries have a refinancing problem. Full Weekly Rebuttal: youtu.be/tb4nzzxdAIE Educational only. Not financial advice.
