Shaquille Gwengwe will miss Malawi’s upcoming 2027 AFCON qualifiers against South Sudan and Angola.
Football Association of Malawi says the Newport County striker requested to be excused from the current camp and asked to be considered for the next national team call-up.
Extremely boring game with both teams looking poor. I don’t believe there was any need to change the starting XI from Fleetwood, especially as that change involved our best player playing out of position and our top scorer out of the team. Far too pragmatic.
