As local journalists report escalating violence across Paris and the rest of France, we urge all parties to exercise restraint and engage in meaningful dialogue aimed at securing an immediate ceasefire. The events of October 17 did not happen in a vacuum!
Should France fail to guarantee the safety of the brave freedom fighters taking over its streets, we might consider imposing targeted sanctions on wine and cheese from areas of Paris where they face repression.

We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.
I have so many questions. Like how do you even bend the legs like that in such a small space? Isn't it illegal? Why are you even in that position? How many times have you come across someone who drives like this?

In 2003, you narrated and produced a segment called Bloody Harvest for Carte Blanche. It focused on farm murders in South Africa.
You interviewed Gregory Stanton, who heads Genocide Watch. Carte Blanche even flew to Berlin to interview him. He explained in detail what a genocide is and why it could be the case in South Africa.
In 2003, he already stated that South Africa was at Stage 5 out of 8 on the Genocide Watch list. You, as Ruda Landman and as Carte Blanche, then laid out the case for him and showcased various farm murders in South Africa and how the aim was to torture, rape and not steal anything.
May I ask, Ruda, since this interview, thousands more farmers have been brutally murdered with exactly the same modus operandi, and yet now you are the one saying that farm murders are just normal crime.
I would like to know why you feel this way and why, with all the overwhelming evidence confirming what you illustrated in your segment over 23 years ago, you now feel differently and go so far as to call it "normal crime"

They create these outlandish wish lists on Amazon, pass it off as refugee lists in an attempt to DISCREDIT actual refugees!

The problem about people who want to twist scripture to make cheap political points is... they don't know their Bible.
On one hand, you are correct, that we are commanded to obey and respect the authorities. On the other hand, in Acts, Paul writes: "We must obey God rather than human beings."
The theme throughout the Bible is that we must submit to the authorities UNLESS those authorities stand in opposition to the the ULTIMATE authority: God.
You see this in Paul's civil disobedience as he continued to preach the Gospel as imperial laws prohibited it. He also used the Roman legal system to challenge his unjust treatment.
If Paul would have obeyed Rome, he would have had to DISOBEY God and the calling He has placed on his life.
There are many other examples I could cite (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego + Hebrew midwives + parents of Moses, Daniel etc.)
So yes, I would argue that when a government violates your basic natural rights given to us by God, we are justified in practicing civil disobedience like those who came before us.
Pastors were literally ARRESTED for holding church services. That kind of civil disobedience is righteous to anyone without scales over their eyes. Hope this helps.

Even as a casual observer i see huge problems with the choice. None related to Israel.
Over many years she was happy to give the Peoples Republic of China full details of Chinese whistle blowers, dissidents and activists.
This allegedly led to consequences for activists and their families - to include imprisonment and murder. We will never know the full truth. Because of her position she enjoys immunity from legal action.
She has reputedly exercised this immunity to prevent several lawsuits brought by families of now dead Tibetan and Chinese activists.
There is much more.
