Be sure of this and remember it well-the people who today support the EU because they believe it works for their globalist, humanist agenda, will in the future become the EU's most fanatical enemies when it inevitably starts doing it's actual job - protecting European interests.
I'm pretty sure @vonderleyen has not read the Articles 2 and 3 of the 'Treaty on the European Union'. An European Union that does not defend the rights of human beings is totally unuseful and should then not even exist. Link: eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-cont…

Anyone who refers to Russia's invasion of Ukraine as a "brother war" is pro-Russia and de facto supports Russian imperialism. Every single one.

A former colleague described Assange's crusade as a "one-dimensional confrontation with the USA" and that he wanted to "bring down" the US. Then he signed a contract with Russian state-owned TV Russia Today to accomplish that mission. Assange, Snowden, Greenwald, etc., all made themselves into useful idiots for Russia, China and the BRICS communist bloc. Now that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are over, Russia is the only major country engaged in a full scale military occupation of another, yet the Assange circle of left-wing shills have nothing to say about it. Their ears only perked up when Trump bombed Iran because now they can one-dimensionally criticize US interventions again.

Comparing what Ukraine has done in the past 2 years to what they did in 2023, the Ukrainian counterattacks are now much more intelligent and goal oriented. In 2023 there was this misguided idea that Ukraine could repeat what happened in Kharkiv, this cringe "lessons learned from Kharkiv" line that I have heard spouted off by people who should really know better. What lesson? That if the Russians withdraw 90% of their forces Ukraine can break through the rearguard? This isn't to minimize the success of that Kharkiv counterattack, but thinking it could be repeated anywhere else was and remains ludicrous. The lesson we learned from the Kharkiv counterattack is that 99% of the leadership didn't understand what happened in the Kharkiv counterattack. But moving on from that, I have always felt, and I wrote back then in real time, that Ukraine's path to success laid with careful, deliberate defense that hinged on keeping national morale high (to maintain recruitment), strong defensive engineering (to minimize casualties), and strong leadership (to maintain morale). Deliberate defense means counterattacking only when you have a limited objective, timing, and means. The goal should be to recapture critically important defensive positions, clearing out Russians from areas you deem too dangerous, or destroying critically important structures (buildings, basements, bridges). Instead, Ukraine opted for counterattacks. It is easy to only blame the large scale attacks, which were disastrous, but the smaller attacks may be even worse. Where small scale suicidal attacks burn through limited infantry and crush morale and end up weaking the overall situation by running out of manpower. These sorts of attacks I think had a large impact on national morale and recruitment figures. People lost faith in leadership, because leaders viewed them as expendable. And now you have to expend resources winning back trust from the populace. Sadly, some of the leaders who did not fall into this category, and actually preserved the lives of their men, were rewarded with fewer reinforcements, which, after several years, degraded their defensive capabilities to the point of collapse. Which might be an oversimplification, but is more or less what happened east of Siversk and lead to the fall of that entire defensive line. Which then created this critically bad situation around Slovyansk and Kramatorsk where Russians are too close for comfort. More recently, rather than large scale counterattacks like in 2023 and to a lesser extent 2024, we see Ukraine doing more focused attacks to achieve specific goals. We saw the attacks into Kupyansk, which are more or less ongoing to be honest. We saw the attacks in south Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia. First the attack to break the northern flank of the grouping that was assaulting Orikhiv, which has set back their attack on Orikhiv by at least a full year if not longer. Then the second attack in Zaporizhzhia/South Donetsk that pushed towards Komar and weakened the area even further for the Russians. We see the ongoing attack north of Lyman, which has stabilized the northern flank of Slovyansk and eliminated Russia's northern attack from the conversation entirely. In 2023, Ukraine had similar goals that should have taken priority over their YOLO push south. Around Avdiivka, and I wrote this at the time so it is not hindsight, Ukraine had a very real chance to recapture Anthill, Cuckoo, Slab, and Pisky. To the north they had the very real chance to push Russians out of Yasnohorivka. These could have been modest, localized attacks on the same scale as what you saw in south Donetsk earlier this year. It would have fortified the defensive line in an area of utmost importance, and in my opinion could have stopped the line from collapsing in the (hugely predictable) manner in which it did. Similarly, Ukriane had the opportunity to perform a similar level attack into the Lysychansk Oil Refinery. Which would have been difficult, and likely costly for Ukraine, but would have fundamentally changed the entire defensive situation in a manner I think Russia would have struggled to reverse. I think if Ukraine were acting the entire time the way they are acting now, everything would be vastly better today than it is.

Terror against Albanians, as against Croats, started right after Yugoslavia was created. Serbia allowed private schools only in Turkish and systematically settled Serbs in Kosovo, putting them in key posts. Albanian national identity was strongly backed by Catholic clergy,

Never forget that the Europeans found unfathomable horrors as they colonized Africa, and took the pains necessary to stop those horrors out For that great service, they were damned by Liberal opinion, which thought it was mean that they paternalistically prevented cannibalism and the like, and enforced that at bayonet point Thus, decolonization eventually resulted, and so the primordial horrors they had fought so hard to end have been creeping back bit by bit, all in the name of pretending equality exists Such a tragedy, and a waste

It is very telling that even a pro-Western Serbian thinks the problem with Yugoslavia was that Serbia was not ready for such a project. The problem wasn't that multiple nations would have to be erased. 😳
When people ask me what I viscerally hate, I'm usually short of an answer. I usually don’t feel hate at all. I’m more often just annoyed. But if I had to choose one thing from the world of politics to hate with all my soul, it would be the Yugoslav project. Instead of building up the capacities of the nascent Serbian national state, the Serb elite a century ago came up with this great idea to attempt to create a whole new national identity while having weak administrative, economic, and intellectual capacities for such a task. The explanation for why was mostly: the Germans and Italians did it, it's the talk of the town. But you know, the Germans and Italians did not just recently emerge from centuries of serfdom and feudalism under an occupying foreign power while being a mostly illiterate agrarian society. Yugoslavia was an idea stupid in the same manner as Leninism, trying to rush history by skipping necessary levels of development. It can't be done, no matter how much faith you have in it. Material reality comes out on top. All we have to show for it now is the wasted century.

Europe has found yet another way to divide itself: How much cash can you hand a business before the state says “absolutely not”? 🇬🇷 €500 🇪🇸 €1,000 🇫🇷 €1,000 🇩🇰 €2,000 🇳🇱 €3,000 🇩🇪 No general limit Same continent. Same single market. Completely different levels of comfort with cash.

Many miss this but this was the original plan. Do a crimea-style coup with some local collaborators forcing votes in city/oblast halls, forcing governors to record a message asking for Russian protection, etc. On the same morning RU parliament approved use of army in ukraine
01.03.2014: “Putin has signed the decree. The operation has begun.” Putin adviser Sergey Glazyev says the military is already moving and ready to intervene in eastern Ukraine. But first, locals must take to the streets, seize public buildings, and appeal to Russia for help.

Outside of defeat in battle or war, there’s essentially no precedent for being ethnically swamped and replaced in history by migration. A totally new phenomenon we are supposed to just accept as “normal” and are castigated if we object to it.

At this point, those who doubt Tucker has an incentive to help the Russians are living in a house of lies that's in the process of being demolished.

The even more extreme and ridiculous form of the "we were never asked" argument - the "we were occupied" argument... 🤣🤣🤣
Dreamer still identifies with the liberal state and its overculture. He doesn't recognise its intrinsic anti-white, anti-european nature. He thinks if he just denies the occupation of our countries it shows strength and not irrationality.

The rising trend of "islamo-marxist" third worldism on the left surpasses "wokeness" in its awfulness. While similar in their original scope, namely ultimately seeking the downfall of European Man, it is much more grim and belligerent. Whereas 2020-woke liberals still tried to present some kind of justification for being anti-White, people like Hasan Piker basically just say "we simply hate you and are here to take over". The rift between these people and the ones that identify as liberals appears to revolve partially around Ukraine and Israel, and seems to be largely the result of the demographic composition of these groups, the former being simply less White than the latter. For a lot of liberals of European descent, supporting Ukraine is non-negotiable while Palestine has a much lower priority. They quitely dropped their anti-whiteness and some even became open zionists and militarists. For leftists of, say, Middle Eastern or Latin American backgrounds, it is exactly the other way around: they are either ambivalent or outright hostile to Ukraine while Palestine is their highest geopolitical priority, albeit mostly symbolically. This rising third worldism might be more dangerous than what preceded it, it also poses a problem for the left itself. Aiding envy and resentment-driven newcomers to take over your country becomes a much less attractive proposition for the average White liberal when it is no longer cloaked by high minded justifications like "breaking down barriers to achieve equity". Especially when it also entails the literal support for jihadist terrorism while largely abandoning feminism, LGBT-activism and a European country's struggle for survival. The left faces a difficult balancing act of trying to keep these people on board while also accommodating the growing group of non-Western voters. Britain's Labour Party shows just how hard these efforts are. Despite all their flagrant two-tier treatment to the benefit of foreigners, diversity-hiring practices and defense of islam as "part of Britain", Labour still saw a large number of politicians of predominantly muslim background quit the party post-October 7. Many of these people became either islamist independents or joined the Green Party which, like Mélenchon in France, is more openly third worldist. In the US, the Democrats face a similar struggle, but arguably even harder because of the more rigid two-party-system, which forces them to accomodate even the most extremist elements in a big tent coalition. This might very well start to hurt the left electorally in spite of Trump's unpopularity. If France - where demographic change is ahead of most European countries - is anything to go by, this type of third worldism will become the dominant force on the left across our continent. Whether this will lead to liberals seceding and forming their own political block remains to be seen.
