🧵 1/ Naama Levy. is a symbol of what has happened to many Israelis after October 7 and will never be the same.
Naama, was a peace activist before she went to the IDF as an observer- a non combatant unarmed position.
Today, another video from her kidnapping was published >

Hundreds of Jewish students at @Columbia just published one of the most incredible student letters I have ever read.
It's not only magnificently written, but it also clearly articulates their experiences on campus for the past six months.
Their letter tells the story of what's it like being a Jewish student right now better than any professor like myself could ever do.
Please take 4-5 minutes to read their letter.
Give Jewish students a voice.

The Janitor from @Columbia -a simple man, working hard to feed his family. For 5y he was cleaning the mess left behind by the spoiled, rich and lately, violent “elite”. He is making less than $19 per hour.
He was trapped inside by the mob, fought them back. Hear him out in an exclusive interview for @TheFP . If you wanna do some good today, donate something for this man. I did.

A new horrific video has been released from the moment of the kidnapping of the Israeli hostage Noa Argamani.
Noa Argamani was kidnapped from the @nova music festival with her partner Avinathan on Oct. 7 .

The only way to stop unintentional shootings - a uniquely American crisis - is to hold adults accountable when they don’t securely store their firearms. Let this be a lesson to every irresponsible gun owner in America: there will be serious consequences for your negligence.

My heart is with Rachel Goldberg. Can you begin to imagine what these families have endured for the past 6 months?
Will all of my followers please follow @BringHershHome? You all lifted me up during my darkest hour. Rachel and the other hostage families need us. #TEAMMOLLY – at Los Angeles, CA

Donald Trump brutally mocks those who stutter.
Joe Biden does this.
Who would you choose if this was your kid?
Who would you choose even if it wasn’t?

To all MAGAT's using Laken Riley, where were you when my daughter was killed by a teenage American male? Where were you when Trump lied about the Parkland murder? You don't give two f-cks about Laken or her parents, just as you don't about victims of gun violence by Americans.

Living with the permanent, legitimate fear that on any given day your children could slaughtered with a weapon of war isn’t freedom. It’s madness.

Bill Clinton banned assault weapons in 1994; mass shootings dropped by 43%.
George W. Bush and the GOP let the assault weapons ban expire in 2004; mass shootings increased by 245%.
These numbers tell the whole story.

Ten people shot at a fucking celebratory Super Bowl parade in Kansas City, including children. This uniquely American hell was created by every lawmaker who supports lax gun laws.

May Rihanna remind moms everywhere that we don't have to "do it all." No guests, no dizzying choreo, and no wardrobe changes and it was still enough. I want all moms to access that enoughness on a daily basis in interactions and venues big and small. Enough *is* enough.

The “baby friendly” hospital trend is bullshit. Hospitals are privatizing and getting rid of nurseries to cut costs, not to benefit babies or moms. When I was recovering from a c section, I couldn’t physically sit up on my own, let alone care for the newborn they put in my room.

Can you spot the difference between the two? If Caitlyne can stand up to the bull that is the schoolboard and @GregAbbott_TX, then I don’t want to hear any excuses from any adult!

To my sisters, it’s ok to feel heartbroken, devastated, scared, stunned. It’s right to feel all of that and more. But my sisters, we cannot give in or give up. We must rise up, speak up, and stand up. We must ask others to join in this revolution of dignity for women's rights.

Of course it is. There is a deep fear of women having control of their own lives, their own choices, their own finances, their own power. That’s the truth. @RBReich
