For all the doubters on Florida's Amendment 3, here's an actual Florida ballot. Stop listening to all fear mongerers spreading their fake fear porn. There are no issues with public safety (police, fire, etc.) money whatsoever. The bill forces local governments to use our money correctly. VOTE YES ON THREE AND GET THE TAX BREAK YOU DESERVE.

Florida local property tax levies went from about $31B in 2019 to $55B in 2024. That's $24B more out of Floridians' pockets. Amendment 3 raises the non-school homestead exemption to $150K in 2027 and $250K in 2028. Vote YES on 3.

Yes on 3. We need everyone to vote. Do not sit home. 60% is needed.
Fun Fact: Many Florida cities are canceling parades, events and festivals simply because they don't want Amendment 3 to pass. They've already received the money for these events in their budget this year, and now they're just trying to pocket that money for themselves. They're using scare tactics against citizens saying they won't be able to run their cities. This is false. Do your homework. Most of the sheriffs and city officials incomes have increased 30%-90% over the last 5 years. We have many city officials throughout the state that make more than the governor at $174k. Totally Ridiculous. All the amendment is doing is increasing the homestead exemption for homeowners. It’s been at $50K for decades. Vote YES on Amendment 3.

YIKES! Florida city manager salaries reaching $475,000—before benefits and perks. Homeowners are NOT an unlimited ATM. Scrutinize government spending. Vote YES on 3! Can anyone tell me what a city manager actually does on a daily basis?

Is anyone thinking about the insane possibilities that may come and our next steps? At what point in the future will America need to secure the Nuclear Arsenal of Europe? What will France need to look like before we go get them?
Europe .. Remind you of what the UAE Foreign Minister said a decade ago! Just in case you forgot (which you obviously did) !

If you need proof of wasteful spending, just look at how all of the overpaid officials are screaming to vote no on Florida Amendment 3. We should reduce their bloated budgets and salaries and there won't be a $ problem. Vote YES in Amendment 3. Stand up to the thieves.

One of the loudest voices telling Florida citizens to vote NO on Amendment 3 is Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd. Easy for him to say when he's making $253K annually plus benefits, but not terribly helpful to this state's citizens struggling to pay their bills. I get that Grady and other sheriffs like himself don't want to have to budget like the rest of us, but there's no reason why he can't. Most all of the lies being told about Amendment 3 are coming from organizations who directly benefit from your tax burden. Stay in your lane Grady, you're basically a podcast celebrity posing as a sheriff and nothing more. Vote YES on Amendment 3.

💥 The only people who benefit from a NO on Amendment 3 are the ones who want more of your money to spend. 💥
Florida, vote YES on Amendment 3. It raises the homestead exemption to $250K by 2028, so seniors on fixed incomes can stay in the homes they've paid off. It also caps yearly assessment hikes on rentals and small businesses at 5%. Keep Floridians in their homes.

When was the last time you got to vote to LOWER TAXES? Never! Now is your chance, and still leave plenty of funding for everything needed. (record high) Property Taxes are the most hated tax in America because…. 1. You don’t own your home (the government has a lien) 2. You pay taxes on money you’ve never received (unrealized gains) 3. There’s so much wasted spending - its hard to track Vote YES then let’s come back and overhaul the entire system.

I will vote yes on Amendment 3. No it is not all it was meant to be. Local county governments can raise millage rates to make up for less money. But after what I have seen in the last few months of attending my local board of county commission meetings, there is a lot of fat they can trim that they simply do not want to do. We need to show up to all of these meetings regularly and force them to cut the fat. The amount of waste, fraud and abuse coming out of our own counties is scandalous, and we have only ourselves to blame for allowing them to continue wasting OUR money.
Good morning, Florida! Wondering where Gov. DeSantis stands on Amendment 3? His post speaks for itself. Read his words, then Friedman’s below. Government will always find reasons to spend more. We have 19 days to demand it learn to live with less. Vote YES on 3 !!!
