I am pleased to have participated in a capacity-building webinar on “The Role of Pharmacists in Advancing Digital Healthcare Systems,” organized by the Rwanda Pharmaceutical Students Association (RPSA). The session provided an important opportunity to reflect on how pharmacists can contribute to the ongoing digital transformation of healthcare. As healthcare systems continue to evolve, pharmacists must also be prepared to understand, embrace, and contribute to technologies that improve medication safety, patient care, access to health information, and healthcare delivery. For me, this was more than a webinar—it was another reminder that the future pharmacist must combine pharmaceutical knowledge, innovation, and technology.
