We’re excited to share my deeply personal new album, Who Taught You to Run II, releasing January 20, 2025 with the single “Discarded” today. This emotional, environmental ambient work explores themes of abandonment, resilience, and transformation. It reflects feelings of being discarded, the rage of those moments, and the lingering sense of loss.
Creating this album was a cathartic journey through profound challenges, including the tragic loss of my youngest sister in a car accident. We were reconnecting after nearly 20 years of estrangement caused by our parents’ conflicts. At the same time, I’ve faced my own health struggles. These experiences pushed me to confront isolation and reevaluate the spaces I occupy.
Each track captures fragments of despair, resilience, and hope. I hope you’ll find connection in these recordings as deeply as I’ve poured myself into them.
