We were thrilled to feature You Weren't Meant to be Human in our @EvernightBooks box for October! Limited leftover stock in the UK/US shop: illumicrate.com/search?q=you…

The Illumicrate/Evernight editions of YOU WEREN’T MEANT TO BE HUMAN have been out in the world for a month now, and I just cannot BELIEVE how beautiful/horrific this is. It’s always such a blast to work with the team!!
The Evernight exclusive cover of YWMTBH, showing Crane (the protagonist) in a sports bra and cargo pants, holding his pregnant stomach and covering his face while staring at the viewer. The cover is dark and claustrophobic and eerie.

The naked hardback of the book, which is black and white with monochrome red blood splatters. It shows a massive wasp’s nest the size of a room, with skeletons and broken furniture scattered on the floor.

The signature page. The title is made of dripping letters in a circle, and the signature has a worm doodle on it.

One of the endpapers, showing a man in camo trapping the protagonist against the ground in a livestock auction lot (no animals), and holding his face. There is a shotgun leaning against the bars.
