Contrary to popular belief, most Muslims are not on the left. The majority of Muslims strongly disagree with many left issues - especially social an economic issues.
Most Muslims are naturally conservative- fiscally and socially. The GOP could have had a couple million voters and had charismatic Muslim candidates like Abdul al Sayed and Mamdani but on the right instead of the left. But they don’t because the party made it clear Muslims were not welcome. So the many conservative Muslims are much less active with the GOP and hold their nose while quietly supporting republicans or they support independents, libertarians, the Green Party or they just stay home.

It’s so strange that you can oppose WWl, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran or pretty much any war from this century or the last as a complete disaster that never should have been fought and it’s a complete safe position.
In fact, it seems almost no one can even attempt to offer a rationale for any of them.
But, it is radioactive to even question the wisdom of fighting the Second World War.
