Inspired by @BigLocalNews and @KnightFound @AP data team in the US and @bureaulocal and the @BBC Shared Data Unit in the UK, the @LHreports data team had been had been seeking out a high-value data set full of opportunities for important, localized accountability stories. A 🧵
4. Findings are not “self-explanatory.” The more that data and traditional reporters define & shape the main investigative questions together, the smoother the process of reconciling the analysis & the information that reporters need to understand the results & inform reporting.
